I did not see how Jesus could be God until I decided to do much reading, praying and searching. I now see. :clap: The following verses are what helped me to understand. They are both the beginning and the end. They have always been and always will be...one God.

As God As Jesus

Alpha and Omega (First and Last)Isaiah 41:4; 44:6; 48:12
Revelation 1:8Revelation 1:17,18
Revelation 2:8
Revelation 22:12-16

AngelDust said,

"They are both the beginning and the end."

Can you try to help me see three manifestations of God in that statement? I thought "both" implies two.

I personally believe Jesus is the Son of the One Living God, who has been given all power and authority by the One Living God, and therefore, it can be said that He is also the Alpha and the Omega as is His Father.

But can you answer this question above?

I probably am not the best one to explain it.

Yeah, I did say "both"...I was referring to the fact that I see how others have been saying Jesus is God.

I dont fully understand and that it the way its supposed to be, but what has been revealed to me is what I am comfortable with.

The only way I can say I really understand it, is with this:

My flesh and My Spirit and My soul = One Me
God and Jesus and The Holy Spirit = One God

Someone else may be of better help...

God Bless...

Jesus was God's only son filled with the holy spirit. We are also God's sons and daughters, but we are searching for the holy spirit. We can find it by following Jesus' teachings and by being righteous. The father, son, and the holy ghost make up the trinity, make up the holy spirit.

Kim Varner,
Hi. You know when it says that They are both the beginning and the end, the "both" refers to the words beginning and end, not to the implication of the Trinity. Truthfully, I have no idea how it all works, but by faith, praise God, I believe that the three are one, and that is what the Lord tells me is true, and He is the way, the truth, and the life. But I hope that answers your earlier question anyhow.

God Bless

It is wonderful that the Lord is showing you that the trinity is so, that God the Father, the Word, and the Holy Spirit are one. Jesus said that faith cometh by hearing, and hearing by THE word of God (emphasis) So our faith cometh by what God says in the Bible (KJV)

1 John 5:7 For there are three that bear record in heaven; the Father, the Word, and the Holy Ghost, and these three are one.

John 1:1 In the beginning was the Word, and the Word was with God, and the Word was God (cross referance Genesis 1:1)

John 1:2 And the same was in the beginning with God.

John 1:14 And the Word was made flesh, and dwelt among us (and we beheld his glory, the glory as the only begotten of the Father) full of grace and truth

1 Timothy 3:16 And without controversy great is the mystery of godliness: God was manifest in the flesh justified in the Spirit, seen of angels, preached unto the gentiles believed on in the world, recieved up into glory.

EPHESIANS CHAPTER 6
11

Put on the whole armour of God, that ye may be able to stand against the wiles of the devil.

12

For we wrestle not against flesh and blood, but against principalities, against powers, against the rulers of the darkness of this world, against spiritual wickedness in high places.

13

Wherefore take unto you the whole armour of God, that ye may be able to withstand in the evil day, and having done all, to stand.

14

Stand therefore, having your loins girt about with truth, and having on the breastplate of righteousness;

15

And your feet shod with the preparation of the gospel of peace;

16

Above all, taking the shield of faith, wherewith ye shall be able to quench all the fiery darts of the wicked.

17

And take the helmet of salvation, and the sword of the Spirit, which is the word of God:

* THE SWORD OF THE SPIRIT YOU NEED IT IN THE BATTLE THAT IS TAKING PLACE IN THE SPIRITUAL REALM THAT WE CANNOT SEE.
18

Praying always with all prayer and supplication in the Spirit, and watching thereunto with all perseverance and supplication for all saints;

19

And for me, that utterance may be given unto me, that I may open my mouth boldly, to make known the mystery of the gospel,

20

For which I am an ambassador in bonds: that therein I may speak boldly, as I ought to speak.
