As far as "giving/support" goes, that's something that Christians who are members of churches typically do (and even some of those don't give anything, or much of anything ). Visitors and seekers rarely if ever give or support a church, and they should never be expected to. In fact, if you ever do go to a church and feel pressured to give anything, I'd leave immediately and go find another church.
