The times we live in, they are crazy,
The truth of things, it can be hazy.
So don’t be slothful, don’t be lazy,
For so much now is pretty shady.
So be discerning, much need tested,
Be careful now in what invested.
Don’t listen all to what suggested,
But truth of things be what requested.
The time is ticking, ticking faster,
So be discerning what you’re after.
Tomorrow is another chapter
Of what expect from now hereafter.
So many liars, their predictions,
Of what could surely be now fiction,
It’s so confusing, so much friction,
So many, many contradictions.
So many following their pied pipers,
Who truly fully are just vipers.
So many truly now are snipers,
Who to the church, their goal to strike her.
Be careful of who make professions
Of what they are not in possession.
For just because they make confession,
It means not that we shouldn’t question.
For many living in aggression
To what they’re making their confession,
For truth they live now in compression,
While lives not living with discretion.
But Jesus calls all to obey Him,
To turn from sin and all enslaves them,
To not the gospel give it a trim,
Let not their light of truth now grow dim.
