@Gentle Lamb, this thread is the only thread to be bumped in this game. @Goodbook was unclear on the rules and bumped a couple other threads.

It should be noted that the people who made the bumped threads haven't logged into CF in years. I checked a couple, and they were last active in 2006 and earlier. A slight derail isn't going to be offending them, and the reason I mentioned the game was because I didn't want to bump this thread for adding a half-hour to my score.

If you wish to make a thread in Singles, please feel free. It's unlikely it will be bumped and derailed, and if it is, it won't be for a number years.

As far as whether or not this game is a waste of time, I would posit that CF, largely, is a waste of time. There is a game subforum on here with counting games and the like, and there are games (of a sort) in Singles, namely the What are You Listening to Right Now, Do You Have a Crush on Anyone, and CF Matchmakers Game threads.

I don't see why people are making such a big deal over this thread.
