God Established Fruitfulness On The Third Day
Genesis 1:
9 And God said, Let the waters under heaven be gathered together unto one place,
and let the dry land appear: and it was so.
10 And God called the dry land Earth; and the gathering together of the waters called
the Seas: and God saw that it was good.
11 And God said, Let the earth bring forth grass, the herb yielding seed, and the fruit
tree yielding fruit after his kind, whose seed is in itself, upon the earth: and it was so.
12 And the earth brought forth grass, and herb yielding seed after his kind, and the tree yielding fruit, whose seed was in itself, after his kind: and God saw that it was good.
13 And the evening and the morning were the third day.
The Kingdom of God and Parables Of Fruitfulness
Mark 4:
26 And He said, The kingdom of God is as if a man should scatter seed on the ground,
27 and should sleep by night and rise by day, and the seed should sprout and grow,
he himself does not know how.
28 For the earth yields crops by itself: first the blade, then the head, after that the full
grain in the head.
29 But when the grain ripens, immediately he puts in the sickle, because the harvest has come.
30 Then He said, To what shall we liken the kingdom of God? Or with what parable shall
we picture it?
31 It is like a mustard seed which, when it is sown on the ground, is smaller than all the
seeds on earth;.
32 But when it is sown, it grows up and becomes greater than all herbs, and shoots out
large branches, so that the birds of the air make nests under its shade.
33 And with many such parables He spoke the word to them as they were able to hear it.
34 But without a parable He did not speak to them. And when they were alone,
He explained all things to His disciples.
Bearing Fruit As Disciples
John 15:
1 I am the true vine, and My Father is the vinedresser.
2 Every branch in Me that does not bear fruit He takes away; and every branch that
bears fruit He prunes, that it may bear more fruit.
3 You are already clean because of the word which I have spoken to you.
4 Abide in Me, and I in you. As the branch cannot bear fruit of itself, unless it abides
in the vine, neither can you, unless you abide in Me.
5 I am the vine, you are the branches. He who abides in Me, and I in him, bears much
fruit; for without Me you can do nothing.
6 If anyone does not abide in Me, he is cast out as a branch and is withered; and they
gather them and throw them into the fire, and they are burned.
7 If you abide in Me, and My words abide in you, you will ask what you desire, and it
shall be done for you.
8 By this My Father is glorified, that you bear much fruit; so you will be My disciples.
16 You did not choose Me, but I chose you and appointed you that you should go and
bear fruit, and that your fruit should remain, that whatever you ask the Father in My
name He may give you.
17 These things I command you, that you love one another.
The Work Of Righteousness
Isaiah 32:
15 Until the Spirit is poured upon us from on high, And the wilderness becomes a fruitful
field, And the fruitful field is counted as a forest.
16 Then justice will dwell in the wilderness, and righteousness remains in the fruitful field.
17 The work of righteousness will be peace, and the effect of righteousness, quietness
and assurance forever.
18 My people will dwell in a peaceful habitation, In secure dwellings, and in quiet resting places,
19 Though hail comes down on the forest, And the city is brought low in humiliation.
20 Blessed are you who sow beside all waters, who sends out freely the feet of the ox
and the donkey.
