Yea I had a good great sabbath worship service yesterday. Women SDA preachers tend to stay on scriptures..
Can I buy a vowel?....I dont have clue what you/re talking aboutHow can you call the heart of salvation a joke. It bothers you that someone would use the Lord's name because you love the Lord. This far surpasses the Law as a mean to righteousness in the eyes of God because it reveals a restored relationship and is the foundation of salvation.
We all have a lot to learn about what God will do.Side track...
Interesting that you are all about doing what the scripture says, yet you are ok with women ordination... where does the Bible allow that? Is this woman preacher the husband of one wife? Or is she the head of an orderly household?
Would it bother you if someone you didn't know was talking bad about someone you did know? It's irreverent. I don't expect people who are not Christians to show reverence to Christ, so it does not bother me generally when used by non-Christians.

Would you be bothered if someone stole your mother's car?
Romans 12:9 Don't just pretend that you love others: really love them. Hate what is wrong. Stand on the side of the good.
Just wondering...
ECR, the scriptures don't actually talk about anyone being "ordained". However, forbiding women to be ordained is something that came out of sexism in society as far back as biblical times when females we of lilttle value because being married to men to produce more male children. Also, ECR, rmember th Bible writers were highly influenced by their society, patriarchial society where, as I said women were or little value. So it was written in that vain. Sometimes we hve to also study the times in which the texts were written, especially if we are going to try to take the verses literally. Remember, the Bible is written by men who thought they were wrting only to men who could read within socieites where men were large and in charge.
So, a woman can be the wife of one husband, and taking into consideration these days and times of one parent households(for whatever the reason), she can, and many are are, heads of orderly households. Is it the ideal. No., but what is after the entry of sin into the earth? I have never heard it said that apreacher, elder, minister, deacon had to discontinue serving when their wife dies. if they divorce most are questioned and depending on the reason(it wasn't his fualt), then he is generally allowed to continue to serve.
While the Bible doesn't talk about ordaining anyone. we can find it in the Bible where God placed women in authoirty/spiritual authority. He chose Deborah to be judge over Israel, God was choosing the judges of Israel, right? He chose a woman. Miriam was a prophtess, and there were other women prophtess' So, God has no problem with women in authority and/or spiritual authority.
Your question should be why are some christians against it and mistakenly believing it is biblical to do so?
I can start it off by saying that man[society] expanded the command that women are to submit to their husbands to mean that they were to be submissive to all men[males]. That is not what the Bible says.
This is not the only or even the worst offense of discrimination that has been committed in the name of religion.
