2 Chronicles 6:18 But will God indeed dwell with men on the earth?
Behold, heaven and the heaven of heavens cannot contain You.
How much less is this temple which I have built!
We marvel over the images from the newest telescopes allowing us to perceive the vastness of the universe, and yet this is but a visible representation of the vastness of God! Let us not forget that there is a nano-verse that we have yet to come close to comprehending, which requires us to look within. We look to the stars and imagine heaven, but have we truly looked within? His challenge to us is to comprehend Him by one standard, His Love for all.
Ephesians 3:
14 For this reason I bow my knees to the Father of our Lord Jesus Christ,
15 from whom the whole family in heaven and earth is named,
16 that He would grant you, according to the riches of His glory,
to be strengthened with might through His Spirit in the inner man,
17 that Christ may dwell in your hearts through faith; that you,
being rooted and grounded in love,
18 may be able to comprehend with all the saints what is the width and length
and depth and height—
19 to know the love of Christ which passes knowledge;
that you may be filled with all the fullness of God.
20 Now to Him who is able to do exceedingly abundantly above all that we ask or think,
according to the power that works in us,
21 to Him be glory in the church by Christ Jesus to all generations, forever and ever. Amen.
With Christ dwelling in us, we are led into a greater love, not just in words, but in Spirit and in Truth.
If we truly believe this, we can be filled with all the fullness of God!
1 Corinthians 13:
4 Love suffers long and is kind; love does not envy; love does not parade itself, is not puffed up;
5 does not behave rudely, does not seek its own, is not provoked, thinks no evil;
6 does not rejoice in iniquity, but rejoices in the truth;
7 bears all things, believes all things, hopes all things, endures all things.
We should ignore the worldly gaze into the visible heavens, and look to Heaven where Christ sits at the right hand of God.
2 Corinthians 4:
16 Therefore we do not lose heart. Even though our outward man is perishing,
yet the inward man is being renewed day by day.
17 For our light affliction, which is but for a moment, is working for us a far
more exceeding and eternal weight of glory,
18 while we do not look at the things which are seen, but at the things which
are not seen. For the things which are seen are temporary, but the things
which are not seen are eternal.
Behold, heaven and the heaven of heavens cannot contain You.
