Alright, so I was driving to work yesterday with my darling husband and we were listening to the local country radio station, when we heard something about a contest and babies.

So when we got home that night we looked it up on their website. This is what we found:

MOO CREW BABY RACE!!

The Moo Crew Morning Show is looking for two married couples ready, willing and able to compete in the “Moo Crew Baby Race!!"

The first couple to become pregnant wins:

Crib, stroller and baby swing from Walmart, Hwy 100 in Greenfield
$250.00 gift certificate from New To You Kids
3D and 4D Ultrasound from Baby Preview

October 9 through October 12, Karen Scott and Radar will give you chance to call in explaining why you want to have a baby.

(Callers must be one of the "soon-to-be parents"...no family members can volunteer our couple!)

Everyone that registers will receive the new Eric Church CD featuring his new song “Two Pink Lines”. They'll aslo get movie tickets to the FM 106.1 screening of "Flicka" on Saturday, October 14th, at Marcus Westown.


Two winning couples and two alternate couples will be contacted by the Moo Crew Thursday October 12th.

(Alternate couples should be prepared to enter the race if needed.)

Couples interested in participating MUST be available for Early Pregnancy Tests to be provided by FM106.1 and conducted at the FM106.1 studios during the morning show between 6:00AM and 8:00AM. Each couple MUST show a negative result at their first test Friday October 13th and will be tested each Friday after, until a positive result occurs. Couples are immediately disqualified if they miss a weekly test or use artificial means to conceive.

If both couples show positive results at the same time, the couple that delivers first will win the Baby Race and accompanying prizes. The Moo Crew will track each couple by contact on the phone for periodic on-air updates.

So I didnt get picked to be one of the two couples.

I am very discouraged right now. I might even cry.

Wait, there are the tears, ok I am crying.

I really want kids more than anything in the world, and I know Dennis (my husband) wants them too. But everything is pointing us toward not having children.

I really thought we would have been called for this contest, I thought that by God getting me registered for it, it was his sign of saying, its time.

But now I dont even want to try. Whats the use.

I feel so detached. And empty inside.

Who knew trying to get pregnant would be filled with so many emotions.

I know what you are feeling. I have been trying for 2 years. It is like it is never going to happen. A couple of weeks ago when I was sitting in church God showed me something through the preaching. Of course we know that everything is done in God's timing. God showed me that when we have the attitude of expectation and thanksgiving then that is usually when it will happen. I decided that even though it is hard I can not let doubt come in and I have to expect it to happen. And while I am waiting on God I am going to praise Him and thank Him every single day for the baby he is giving to me. Faith can not work if we have doubt. Please hang in there sis. God will come through for you. I will be praying for you.

I am sorry you werent picked, i know that musta been disappointing.

Let me share ...it took me 16 yrs to get pregnant with my first..and 2 yrs to get pregnant with my 2nd. i never gave up! i always prayed, i always believed. When i finally got pregnant is when i COMPLETELY SURRENDERED it to God and put it in his hands..even to the point of being willing to accept that maybe i NEVER would...6 mos later..i was pregnant ..after 16 yrs of trying!! LET GO AND LET GOD...and ACCEPT his answer..WHATEVER it is! huggs!
