Matthew 2:10 When they saw the star, they rejoiced with exceeding great joy.
The star, which the wise men saw in the east, went before them, till it came and stood over where the young child was.
...
Lets have the best rejoicing Christmas we can possibly have this year.
The star in the sky led the wise men to where Jesus was.
We are the stars that lead the lost world to where Jesus is now.
There are many scriptures in the old testament that foretold of the birth of Jesus, and they all came true just like the bible tells us. There is not enough human language to express the gratitude how thankful we are for His birth in Bethlehem of Judaea.
.
The bible also tells us there is another great event that is going to take place. And that is Jesus is coming again to gather up His bride.
How wonderful it would be if at 12/25/2011 at midnight Jesus would come again.
The bride are those who have been save by the grace of God. Lets pray this Christmas Jesus will come back to get His bride. What a glorious Christmas day that would be. I cannot not begin to explain the joy that takes place that day.
Lets look for and get excited about His return just like we are excited about His birthday.
To be ready for Jesus return is to have on the wedding garment. The most precious clothing you and I will ever wear. In fact, we are wearing it now. The garment we are wearing is the righteous of Jesus Himself. We received that clothing when we were born again. There is nothing we can do to make that clothing any purer than it already is.
There is absolutely nothing you can do, or not do that prepares you for that day other than believing in Jesus and what He did at the cross for us.
Jesus is the same yesterday, today, and forever. When we were born-again we were instantly clothed with the righteous of Jesus which is our wedding garment. Furthermore, we are the same yesterday, today and forever clothed in the righteous of Jesus, that status will never change.
The more we understand what we are because of what Jesus did for us on the cross, the more humble we will be. The more we grow in the knowledge of what Jesus did and what is freely given unto us, our faith, love, and peace will multiply.
