  • CF has always been a site that welcomes people from different backgrounds and beliefs to participate in discussion and even debate. That is the nature of its ministry. In view of recent events emotions are running very high. We need to remind people of some basic principles in debating on this site. We need to be civil when we express differences in opinion. No personal attacks. Avoid you, your statements. Don't characterize an entire political party with comparisons to Fascism or Communism or other extreme movements that committed atrocities. CF is not the place for broad brush or blanket statements about groups and political parties. Put the broad brushes and blankets away when you come to CF, better yet, put them in the incinerator. Debate had no place for them. We need to remember that people that commit acts of violence represent themselves or a small extreme faction.

Here in this quiet solitude
Where my spirit recieves rest
I know my weakness and my shame
I see my failings, I see my Sins

Here where I find rest at last
I see the stains cleansed
My failures, my sinful nature
This flowing blood washes clean

Here at the cross which beared him up
The blood flows down on my stains
I witness the agony, I feel the pain
I feel a love I'll never understand

Here where Love and sorrow mingle
Where a crown of thorns was worn
By humble king lead by his Love
For us to death most humiliating

On the cross my debts were payed
By an innocent man's blood
By his death, death was defeated
In his death and Blood, I am saved

Now I live not for myself
But a humble servant to my brothers
As my Savior obeident to death
I shall ever try to be.
