The Source Of Blessings

Often we hear of dear ones struggling with problems and worries, and they want help in finding a remedy. The remedy is available to all, but it is often rejected. It is in the Lord Jesus Christ, God's beloved Son (see John 14), and it can only be possessed by receiving Him into one's heart (not just following His teachings). If one does not read the Bible they will not know these things.

I urge any readers here with a sincere desire for the peace and assurance of God to begin reading the Bible ---starting with the Gospel by John to get quickly to the heart of redemption. That is where one can be saved (see also the Epistle to the Romans). Then one can begin reading the history and other ministry contained in the Word of God.

Once one is saved they will have free access to the mercies and blessing of God by faith ---besides eternal life.

But it should be remembered that what is considered a blessing in the Kingdom of Heaven, is not what the World would consider a blessing. The Beatitudes testify to this.

The ultimate blessing: the most wonderful thing that could ever happen to a person, is that they might become Christlike. But becoming Christlike is difficult. Foxes have holes and birds have nests, but one who seeks to follow Christ may have no place to lay their head.

Being comfortable with no worries or problems, well fed, healthy, prosperous; well, Solomon of old had it all, and he said it was meh. The way of the Kingdom is challenge, and it is for those prepared for adventure, not those seeking to be wrapped up in cotton wool.

I think people want to meet Jesus face to face and not just read about this character in a book?

Did God set it up so people could see Jesus eyeball to eyeball, have him spend time with them, hug them, listen to them, share a meal with them, and truly show the Godly type Love so they could experience to the point of accepting or rejecting that Love?

It is your privilege and honor to allow Christ to live through you and get personal with people.
