The soul is in the blood, it is not eternal... It is the movie reel, or video tape of your earthly life and existence... Each nanosecond, is like an individual frame on a movie reel. It contains all your experiences, even every thought, and everything you said and did during your earthly life...

Which none, not one of us can remember or recall (correctly or accurately) right now in our existence here. It contains the key to our true identity, the record of our life, all of our growth through our development by our experiences here. In heaven, we'll get to review all of it, and our true identity of all of how became to be who we are through it. We'll not only know who we are, but how and why we came to be who we are by it's finish and ending.

The spirit is eternal, not the soul. When Jesus came back from the dead to visit people in his glorified body, it had a kind or type of flesh, but no blood. Abel's blood, when he was killed, it says that his blood, over the injustice of his life, the injustice of his brother Cain slaying him, cried out to God from the ground over the injustice, crying out to God to rectify the situation or make it right. The souls of those slain due to their faith are said to crying out to God (in revelation) for the same reason. And, Christ's own blood being the largest and greatest voice crying out to God the Father for justice and to "make it right" of them all, being the greatest injustice of them all.

God did, will and does, and has a ultimate plan and purpose to make it all "right" and justified, but, in time, cause it does and will take time. It also happens in steps and stages as a part of a process. One of the very first steps, started with Christ and the saving of these souls and granting them the reward of, when they die, resurrecting them to go be in heaven with him in his kingdom. That was one first step in making it right. What other steps in between, I do not know. But, will be complete when this world becomes like their world, when their is set up God's kingdom on earth.

God Bless!

13 And whatsoever man there be of the children of Israel, or of the strangers that sojourn among you, which hunteth and catcheth any beast or fowl that may be eaten; he shall even pour out the blood thereof, and cover it with dust.

14 For it is the life of all flesh; the blood of it is for the life thereof: therefore I said unto the children of Israel, Ye shall eat the blood of no manner of flesh: for the life of all flesh is the blood thereof: - Leviticus 17

"spirit" as in Holy need to be capitalized. The Holy Spirit indwells each Christian, not a "spirit." Soul = mind, will, emotions, thoughts, behaviors. The "heart," or "soul," is sinful, Jeremiah 17:9. It is the home of the sinful nature. Praise God that our Spiritual Nature has been given to us to stand firm against it, seeking to purify the heart.

I only know, that I cannot wait for the day, when i will understand the how and why of everything, every single choice, that I have made in my life, and what exactly separated me from the rest, to arrive there, and how and why the others, will be continually recycled here, in a hell, for eternity...

How hell can make sense...

God Bless!

The OT refers to a soul that departed and another
time one came back. That would not fit as with the
idea that the soul is blood.
Their blood had not been poured out yet, and, when they came back, did they still have blood in them?

Abel's blood cried out to God from the ground, the scripture says, it was his soul, also, in Revelation it says the souls, from under, "the altar" (I think?) (could be wrong about that detail) anyways, the point is is that souls were crying out to God for justice, from under (I think) the altar... The injustice of what happened with their lives on earth... Also sometimes called and referred to as "the well of souls" (But, I don't know if scripture specifically calls it that or not?)...

God Bless!

Man can kill the body but not the soul.

The OT refers to beating a child with a rod so as to
save his soul from hell.
Scripture where it says to "Beat" a Child, as opposed to like smacking them once with it, and, I think the rod is figurative of and has the symbolic meaning of discipline, guidance, leading, and direction, but also yes, includes chastisement and correction, and even punishment when necessary, but not getting out of control or going overboard with it, if it's the scripture I think your referring to?

God Bless!

The soul is in the blood, it is not eternal
Scripture tells us:

“The LORD God formed man from the dust of the ground [body] and breathed into his nostrils the breath of life [spirit], and man became a living soul.”
– (Genesis 2:7).

It is the union of Man’s body with Man’s spirit that gave rise to Man’s soul.

When the spirit is united with the body it generates the energy of the soul which produces consciousness in Man.

The soul of Man is the conscious mind and intellect of Man.

An analogy:

The battery generates the energy of electricity which animates the cell-phone body with life.
The spirit generates the energy of the soul which animates the human body with life.

When the cell-phone body dies the energy of electricity is stored in the battery.
When the human body dies the energy of the soul is stored in the spirit.

When the battery is reconnected to a new body the energy of electricity is released restoring life to the cell-phone.
When the spirit is reunited with a new body the energy of the soul is released restoring consciousness to the Man.

"There is a spirit in man, the breath of the Almighty, that gives him understanding.” – (Job 32:8).

Neogaia777 I disagree with you a bit primarily because of the texts posted above especially Gen 2:7. See most of the world believes man contains a soul but Gen 2:7 says that man became a soul. Man contains a spirit which is given by God which is synonymous with the breath of life. The soul refers to the entire individual. So when the bible says in Ezekiel 18: 4 that the soul that sinneth it shall die, its the entire individual that is dying not a part. So the soul is not in the blood, the blood is in the soul.
