Well here's another idea from cc- it's somewhat like a battle royal thread, but with a story attatched.
A summary of the exposition: there are a lot of people from different forest tribes attacking a massive castle full of passages, traps, and whatnot. The castle is in the capital of a country encircled by the forests in which the tribespeople live. The king in the castle has for some reason gone mad, and is paranoid that people within his country are trying to overthrow him. Hence he is about to wage war on the tribespeople who are marching on his castle, as well as starting a campaign to root out those who he thinks are threats to his throne, the most prominent of which is the Queen herself. The Queen is supported by a large amount of people, so basically the kingdom's loyalties are split.
At present- the king ordered the queen to be assassinated or brought to him so that he may kill her- hence those in the queen's court loyal to her are trying to get her out of the castle. also, the tribespeople are about to reach the castle and loose all heck.
the mystery of why all this is happening is unknown, only that it is somehow connected to one person, who has acted as a double agent as the messanger for the king and that of the tribes' leader. He/she/it may or may not be responsible for the dissapearance of an arcane text which some students found in the castle.
The rest of the story is up to you guys.
