The Body of Christ is an organic entity and the blueprint for its development and management is written in the Epistles of Paul. I see no reason to deviate from the Apostle’s expertise.

The Epistle to the Ephesians is particularly insightful in understanding principles of Christian “body life” and development, seeing as that’s where the “body of Christ” idea was presented in the first place. A proper hermeneutical approach would be to start in Ephesians, get the historical context of Ephesus, and go from there. It may be useful to consider parallels between Ephesians and Colossians, and also Paul’s letters to Timothy, who was stationed in Ephesus. That would give you a fuller picture to start.

What system are you suggesting we get structured control over? When you say, "public demand of the body of Christ " do you mean what the general public want Christ's church to be or to do?
