I wouldn't say something that The Lord considers to be valuable is of little consequence. I have struggled with the Sabbath for a very long time and I keep it now to the best of my ability in Spirit & Truth, not the letter. I personally keep it for the same reasons I believe marriage is between man and a woman, because of creation (Genesis 2:3). We're told to be fully convinced in our minds but many of us can't help either being conflicted or disagreeing with the notion that it is not to be kept, which is not being fully convinced. Please try not to be dogmatic about it, I know that might sound a bit hypocritical coming from an SDA but there is a vast variety of views within the denomination that can't be seen from the outside. It's a deeply personal issue and we all try to keep it in spirit and joy and we all keep it a little bit differently because of this. I personally use the rule 'if it can be done either at the end of the day or tomorrow I will do it then', which pertains to cleaning or labour in general.
Also I believe it is a moral command, not a ceremonial. If all workforce's everywhere mandated a 7 day work week I think you would start seeing the changing of mind regarding the Sabbath and the citation of it as a reason for rest and a time of worship.
God bless
