Rom 7:7 Do not covet, James2:10&11 murder, adultery. Rom3:20 any law written in your heart and mind. Now why don't you get to the real point here. And just say, they are all part of the Ten Commandments(apart from rom3:20). Then I can respond, then you may(only may) stop evading the scriptures I placed before youROMANS 7:7; JAMES 2:10-11 and ROMANS 3:20 define what sin is. What law are these scriptures referring to?

That is not what sola scripture actually states is it. Do you not believe in sola scripture? So according to God's Word, SIN is breaking anyone of God's 10 Commandments right?

However, your failure to understand this subject is because of your failure to see beyond the letter itself. I have previously explained what that results in
Firstly, I am sure all can see it is you who have avoided giving me an exegesis of Rom 7:4-6. Since then I have patiently responded to everything you asked. I am afraid, all you seem able to do is deflect from responding to what is plainly asked of you, and this after asking me to put scripture before you.Let's look at sola scripture that you just agreed with. The question was asked of you what is the law being discussed in ROMANS 7:7; JAMES 2:10-11 and ROMANS 3:20 that define what SIN is. Each one of those scriptures quote some part of God's 10 commandments as example to make it very clear what LAW is the topic of discussion (e'g Coveting, Adultery, Murder). Now it seems you want to evade the question asked of you which was; So according to God's Word, SIN is breaking anyone of God's 10 Commandments right? I know why you want to evade this question and avoide answering it. You do not have to answer the question if you do not want to. If you do not answer the question however it would be pointless to continue the discussion.
Sorry, no. We see it is /has been/ you avoiding the point and the substance. Why? We don't know.Firstly, I am sure all can see it is you who have avoided giving me an exegesis of Rom 7:4-6.

That is a substantial post isn't it, but an improvement on just clicking the prayer iconSorry, no. We see it is /has been/ you avoiding the point and the substance. Why? We don't know.
This is the problem with those who cannot see past the letter itself. We have the Pharisees of Jesus day as an example of this. And sadly, all too often it is the same today.
You may need the letter of what is written concerning the law, I have the law in my heart and mind God wants me to follow, for I have been born again of the Spirit who placed it thereHow can you know the Spirit if you do not know the letter when the Spirit works through the letter in those who BELIEVE it?
No one has God's Spirit without having the letter where the Spirit lives in those who have faith JOHN 17:17; JOHN 6:63; ROMANS 10:17.You may need the letter of what is written concerning the law, I have the law in my heart and mind God wants me to follow, for I have been born again of the Spirit who placed it there
So one must read the bible before they can become a Christian? For the Spirit dwells in all believersNo one has God's Spirit without having the letter where the Spirit lives in those who have faith.
Yahweh Gives Ekklesia Rest (&/Sleep).I know why. Because if he agrees with the scriptures quoted he has to acknowldge that God's 4th commandment is one of the 10 commandments that give us the KNOWLEDGE of GOOD and EVIL; SIN and RIGHTOEUSNESS *ROMANS 3:20; ROMANS 7:7; 1 JOHN 3:4; PSALMS 119:172 and if we KNOWINGLY break any one of GOD'S 10 commandments including God's 4th commandment which is one of the 10 *EXODUS 20:8-11 we stand guilty before God of sin *JAMES 2:10-11.

I suggest a time of rest from this seemingly fruitless thread.
If any good seed has been planted in good soil, and watered, then God may give growth as He Pleases,
as He Says in His Word.
But you, alongside your church accept as believers/Christians people who in your view do not obey God's word.Nope but they need to hear the WORD of GOD in order to have faith in it *ROMANS 10:17
Well you and I have a fundamental difference concerning the fourth one, you are stuck in the letter of it, and are unable to see the spiritual intent of it, that is upheld in born again believers every day of the week, including Saturday!!@Timothy416 Nice talking to you my friend. We will have to chat more latter bb for now 1
Happy to talk ROMANS 7:6 with you now that we havwe defined what sin is according to God's WORD which is breaking any one of God's 10 Commandments.
