Anyone know anything about the LA Werewolf, the Rougarou? I'm looking for info in order to find the current one if it is real, and cure him or her with the power of Christ in me.

I would not worry too much about legends and mythical creatures.

Me neither, but are we also not to worry about the people who call them selves witches and practice witchcraft? Is God not worried about the salvation of all? If it is real, then it's the responsibility of God's vessels, to try and save them as well as their souls. If they sold their souls, well...they are doomed anyway. Still I want to try.

Well I would be careful following that idea, but if you're really interested in this idea then you would want to look up:Shapeshifting - Wikipedia as there is no such thing as a Rougarou. But some people feel they can shapeshift, which is more like a witchcraft thing perhaps. You could for instance proclaim Christianity to such people, but finding them seems like it would be very difficult

I knew a guy, which I won't get into detail, who thought he could shapeshift into a wolf.

According to one legend, the rougarou is cursed. By a witch, and forcefully shapeshifted. Even if there is no rougarou, there may be a cursed human, or a witch that can shapeshift. So the basic idea is real enough. Thanks for the input though!

But if it is real and God does permanently cure it, no more werewolf of Louisiana to make money off of the Legends so...of course If it is real, It would probably be kept secret. Making whoever it was that was cursed free to live a normal life.

My thought is that God puts us right where he wants us to witness to those around us. Be sure that this hunt is God's will and not your own.

What is not a hoax is how God is able to change us into the image of Jesus. So, in a way I guess you might be able to say God can shapeshift our personality from our selfish image, to become gentle and humble and all-loving like Jesus and so pleasing to God. Of course, "shapeshift" is not really a correct word, because God changes our nature, not only our bodies' shape.

So, this needs to first be getting our attention. So, if some demonic person is being used to trick your attention away from this, this is a hoaxing of your attention. And, by the way, if someone you have never met can get your attention so much, consider how that person can have heard about Jesus or certain Jesus people, and this is already dealing with that person's attention . . . though he or she has never met Jesus or those people.

So, I would say do not limit to yourself what can be done for that person.

And while we are first about growing in Jesus, God can have us praying for any and all people. We can reach them through prayer, maybe we could say first of all > and, by the way, you might feed on what our Apostle Paul says to do, "first of all" > 1 Timothy 2:1-4.

And then God can make the way, but with us first obeying Him, more and better moment by moment in His peace >

"And let the peace of God rule in your hearts, to which also you were called in one body; and be thankful." (Colossians 3:15)

And we need to be with one another, no lone-wolfing >

"with all lowliness and gentleness, with longsuffering, bearing with one another in love," (Ephesians 4:2)

And we share as family while we reach people; our family example can speak louder than words. And by obeying how God has you sharing with family with His people, your obedience can get many blessed, like how Abraham has gotten "all the nations of the earth" "blessed" because he obeyed God's voice > Genesis 22:18.

So, make sure you are first sharing with God and submissive to Him in His peace, plus sharing as His family. And then it is possible that He will have things work out so a demonic person is reached > possibly by your prayer, possibly by other Christians while you humbly submit to God.

What you do as a child of God is connected with other Christians and mainly with God who is doing all that can help any evil person. Jesus did die with hope for any evil person, at all. So, yes, already, Jesus has done what can reach and help any person you care about.

And Jesus already could have someone else reaching someone you care for. Plus, of course, yes Jesus can use you directly, but this needs to be in His personal guiding and timing. And even if He does not directly use you, you will be helping whomever God trusts you to help.

And while you might not help a werewolf wannabe hoax person, you can help keep someone else from becoming one.

Prevention can be better.

Your good example can help anyone around you and whom you pray for. God can spread the effect of how you are becoming in Jesus . . . like how salt crystals in a stew can make the stew salty and bring out the nice flavor.

"rather let it be the hidden person of the heart, with the incorruptible beauty of a gentle and quiet spirit, which is very precious in the sight of God." (1 Peter 3:4)

Any person you talk to could be a werewolf wannabe hoax or someone you help not to become a werewolf wannabe hoax. You might not even know what is really going on with the person.
