I was just wondering, do you think the reality of God is more real in some believers lives than others, what I mean is, dose the way God saves or heals certain people cause that persons level of belief to be more evidend in God than others?

what I am trying to say is, and as I was reading all the different ways Jesus touch peoples lives, for example, take the man that was blind from birth. now if a person was healed like he was? wouldn't that make him believe in God more than someone who just simply excepted christ? what I will close with is, can we have the same reality of God, as such people as the blind man, paul , or mose, without experience God the same way they did?

i don't think so... remember how the bible says that people won't even believe with physical evidence before them? maybe a blind person would be easier to believe at first, but the christian road, i believe, is just as hard for everyone in its own way.

For Paul, it was jail and persecution; for a mother, it may be the runaway son; for a quiet person, it may be courage..... what God has in mind for everyone varies.

God gives everyone a measure of faith, because without faith we could not get saved. If we use the faith we have, we will receive more. Even there are people who have faith without measure.

But if someone has sin in their live, I do not see how they are going to feel very close to God, because sin seperates us from God. If we overcome and live in victory, then we will feel His presense in our life all of the time. He says He will never leave us or forsake us.

God supplys all we need. Be it strength, health, healing, whatever we need to do His will and to live a life well pleasing to Him. Even He will supply abundantly above and beyond all we would ever ask or think.

Matthew 5:8 " Blessed are the pure in heart; for they shall see God "

Luke 18;17 " Verily I say unto you, Whosoever shall not receive the kingdom of God as a little child shall in no wise enter in "

Ezekial 36; 26 " A new heart also will I give you, and a new spirit will I put within you; and I will take away the stony heart out of your flesh, and I will give you a heart of flesh."

It is not about the outward but rather about the inward change. Only God can change our hearts. It is the pure in heart ( I would maybe say those with a soft heart who will see God )
A hardened heart is the greatest obstacle to knowing God intimately. It is true that many through awful trials have had their hearts softened to know God more intimately.
But always remember it is your heart which determines your closeness to God. Love is the chief thing even above faith and prophecy. Those who are close to God have soft hearts.

Most christians, Including myself find the reality of God in the valley more than they do on the mountaintop. It is those who have suffered such as David and Paul did who ended up drawn to God.

yes i do believe that experiencing miracles brings a greater faith in the lord, well it CAN....
in the gospels we read a story of the disciples bringing 2(i think) greeks to Jesus, and then a voice came from heavon speaking to Jesus.
and Jesus said the voice came not for him, but FOR THEM.

the supernatural happened, in order to confirm the message.

its exactly what Jesus said, he told his disciples to go into the cities preaching the gospel and to heal the sick and do great sighns and wonders TO CONFIRM THE MESSAGE.

as Jesus did miracles, many beleived. and we read it over and over, as the disciples did miracles, many beleived.
and as the story of Jesus with the greeks showed, miracles dont came for those who believe already, but they are for those who dont.

the very purpose of miracles is to bring faith, and also to protect the people of God.

though it is better to not have doubt in your heart that needs a miracle to get rid of it.

also,
i think you have to distinguish somethings.
yes it is possible to see the miracles and have something that looks like faith while your in the middle of it, but that doesnt last through the valleys.
but that isnt the fault of the miracle and it doesnt prove miracles are pointless. it only means you didnt take the miracle for what it was sent for.

what miracles are for, are to confirm the truth of the word of God to you.
and when they do that, that faith will last thru the valleys, becuase in the valleys miracles dont happen, but thats when you believe in the word anyway, BECUASE ITS THE WORD OF GOD and you know its true no matter what, whether you see the miracles or not.
but miracles help in getting you to that place.

yes i do believe that those who experience the supernatural and see the miracle working power of God have potential to have a greater faith or reality of God.
but anyone who seeks the face and hand of God, can and will experience such things.
