God suspended Jewish time to make room for Gentile time. The Gentile dispensation is like am alarm clock set for a specific number of Gentiles to come in. When that final Gentile is saved, the Gentile alarm will go off, the rapture will take place, the Day of the Lord will begin, and a few days later, Daniel's 70th week. The Jewish clock will begin once again, and it will be like another alarm clock, set for 2520 days, or 84 months. When this time is up, JESUS will return with the armies of heaven.
This is confirmed by the fact that all saved people will be there IN HEAVEN for the marriage and supper. Then Rev. 20 shows them back on earth judging. HOW did they get from heaven to earth? Simple: we will follow Jesus on white horses. I believe, if someone wishes to remain in heaven and miss out on all the fun, God may possibly honor their faith. Matthew 24:15-31 is a message to the Jews (non Christians) who will have to go through the great tribulation.
Matthew 24:32-51 is a message to Christians on how to avoid going through the great tribulation.
In Matthew 24:28 is the where the carcass is the eagles will gather. To avoid that physical destruction, them in Judea are told to flee to the mountains in Matthew 24:15-28.
