you are SOOOOO wrong... but then again I disagree with most of what you post, and that is after its been tested and found to be wrongly dividing the word... thanks for sharing what you think, and of course I don't share that view.....
which I do.... and thankfully what God says and what you think he says is not even close....It is not my opinion you need to worry about, its God and the truth in His word and the law of love which He gives us which you need to address....

Mmm stereotyping again, this is just as bad as racial or gender stereotyping now we have religious stereotyping adventist style. you should know better than this Red.But they share the same direction, and it leads them to apostasy, and eventually pushing a false gospel or view such as the evangelical and rejecting the Spirit of Prophecy which is the testimony of Jesus Christ. So even if they dont know what they believe, or have diversity of belief, or have given up believing, a spirit comes when it sees them hesitate in the path to life, they may feel it is leading them to truth as it entices them off the path, but they dont test to see if it is a false spirit which slowly, subtly or imperceptibly is leading them away from the way, truth and life.
We do hence we can respond to your misinformation. The gospel according to Red is not in my version of the bible. So you say, but read the scripture first...
read it.... and its been interpreted, and not in the manner that you interpret.... so we can simply say we don't agree.... what you do works for you Red, in my opinion you are not true to the word with your interpretations, but that's you.... The good thing is that God has never told me to follow Red to get a better understanding of who God is.... likewise you are not obligated to follow me.... which is probably a good thing.....So you say, but read the scripture first...

Red, couldn't everyone follow this line of reasoning to protect their own inside position? The problem then being there are a hundred different inside positions of groups reading the same source text. How would a person from any position come to the truth if their line of reason keeps them from looking?
you have responded with vague and nebulous phrases, godtalk, and trite statements..... how does your response answer the question? It doesn't......That is why Gods word is the standard, and the Spirit leads us into understanding of the truth, and if we could see the lenght and breath of Gods love, we wouldnt even worry about the Law as we would be so way beyond it in showing our love for God, and Christ would be here tommorrow if not today to take us with Him...

haven't you noticed, he usually posts what he wants regardless of the feedback.... oh well....It's as if I never even posted any of that stuff!
I give up. Think what you want Red.

Unfortunately Red has assumed that Ellen White is the divine interpreter of Scriptures. It is something we find among many Adventists. It is why Dale Ratzlaff book was titled the cultic doctrine of SDA. Because when you define your religion by a 19th century prophet you have left behind the common aspects of Christianity and moved to the cultic side of the road. Once there it becomes easy to declare anyone else as people in apostasy or rejectors of God.But they share the same direction, and it leads them to apostasy, and eventually pushing a false gospel or view such as the evangelical and rejecting the Spirit of Prophecy which is the testimony of Jesus Christ. Dealing with issues and ideas has never been a strong point of Traditional Adventism and probably never will be because then it would not longer be traditional Adventism.
Well said!Without traditionals, any organization is in trouble. Without progressives, any organization will eventually die. This could be a good marriage! If we get divorced, we'll just want to get remarried!
I see your point, but traditionals are intrinsic to our meaning. They are resisting progressives for a reason. There is a foundation to protect, and I don't mean just the 28. That's a minor part of our foundation. Without our foundation, there's nothing to build on. How many times do progressives get all charismatic about changing the church and then take off. Without traditionals, any organization is in trouble. Without progressives, any organization will eventually die. This could be a good marriage! If we get divorced, we'll just want to get remarried!
Bam!... She swings, she hits, homerun......
