if you wouldnt mind id like you to read the rest of this and think on it, it has impacted my life, and i beleive it could possibly do the same for you.
i am preparing to speak in my sunday school class on the subject of prayer.
and while seeking the Lord about this, he told me to speak on the subject of establishing the purpose in prayer.
or what i mean is that we all have a purpose on our lives, A VERY SPECIFIC purpose, we all have unique callings and purposes that no one has, but it is possible that they never be established or fullfilled.
we all play a certain unique part in the body of Christ.
some people see their purpose as just Glorifying the Lord, or being one with the father etc, and that is good, but those are things we are all called to do.
and we each have SPECIFIC purpose, a think we are called to do, that no one else can do. such as being at a certain place, at a certain time, 20 years from now, and speaking a certain word to a certain person.
we each have a SPECIFIC purpose, and for the salvation of all people and for the complete will of God to be done, we each have learn what that specific thing is that God has called us to do.
part of my purpose is to Glorify the Lord in all things, obey the Holyspirit, be one with the Father, but that is only HALF of my purpose.
and the other half is that i am called to be a speaker and a writer unto the world or to someone and help people better themselves and do more effectively what God has called them to do.
but the second half of my purpose is not something so general as glorifying the Lord in all things, something we are called to do. many are called to be doctors, lawyers, and i am not.
there is a GENERAL purpose, and SPECIFIC purpose.
and the cry of my heart tonight is that everyone would know what their SPECIFIC calling and purpose is.
becuase even though it may look like pride, it is still very much God.
and God showed me something amasing.
he showed me that it is possible to be very very saved, very filled with the Holyghost, very much on your way to heavon.
but your SPECIFIC purpose, be very dead and dormant.
there is SPECIFIC thing God has called you to do, and that is to make a positive effect on society and this world, and many people get saved and go on to heavon, but never do that.
God has given you unique abilities and talents that most people do not have, becuase few other people are called to do what YOU are called to do. becuase it is a SPECIFIC thing.
and untill you tap into and stir up those UNIQUE things inside you, you will never be the UNIQUE thing that God has called you to be.
being that UNIQUE person, working in your own purpose is the way God has provided you to CREATE WEALTH, PROVIDE FOR YOUR FAMILY, HAVE AN IMPACT ON SOCIETY, ETC.
but most people never learn that, and never become anything in this society. and die, never contributing anything to mankind.
the richest place in the world, is not a bank or on anymans property.
but the grave yard.
because there, in the grave yard there are BOOKS NEVER WRITTEN, DREAMS NEVER LIVED, MILLIONS NEVER EARNED FOR THE KINGDOM, LIVES NEVER SAVED, BILLS NEVER PASSED, SONGS NEVER SUNG, AND LIVES NEVER CHANGED. becuase people took their own gifts and talents to grave with them becuase they never learned their own SPECIFIC purpuse.
see maybe God has called you to make a million dollars and support a certain ministry, but the bible alone wont tell you that.
maybe God has told you to write one song, that would change a country or bring great revenue, but the bible alone wont tell you that.
THE GENERAL purpose wont tell you that.
you have to learn what your SPECIFIC calling is.
see many of us are like Jesus and the tomb.
but we are the TOMB.
and Jesus is our purpose.
and even though we are very saved and filled with the holyghost.
its only like the tomb being covered with flowers and beautiful vines.
but there is still something dead inside us.
and that dead thing is not your soul.
but it is your SPECIFIC calling.
we have to loose our calling and purpose and let it go.
it is possible to be very saved, love the Lord, and go to heavon.
and yet never ever fullfill our purpose.
it is possible to be very saved, yet our SPECIFIC purpose is never established or finished.
please, be a help to mankind and find your own greatness and beauty in this world, by finding your own talents and gifts and mastering them, AND RUN, WITH YOUR OWN PURPOSE!
i love you, but your purpose is not my purpose.
myne is not yours.
and that is why must all, find our own purpose.
dont be like a tomb, that is very alive on the outside, and on its way to heavon, but on the inside the purpose in you, never lives or is never set free.
i beleive lack of purpose, is the reason for poverty and sin and death.
