  • CF has always been a site that welcomes people from different backgrounds and beliefs to participate in discussion and even debate. That is the nature of its ministry. In view of recent events emotions are running very high. We need to remind people of some basic principles in debating on this site. We need to be civil when we express differences in opinion. No personal attacks. Avoid you, your statements. Don't characterize an entire political party with comparisons to Fascism or Communism or other extreme movements that committed atrocities. CF is not the place for broad brush or blanket statements about groups and political parties. Put the broad brushes and blankets away when you come to CF, better yet, put them in the incinerator. Debate had no place for them. We need to remember that people that commit acts of violence represent themselves or a small extreme faction.
  • We hope the site problems here are now solved, however, if you still have any issues, please start a ticket in Contact Us

How many times in life have we uttered those words “How much longer Lord”?

The children of Israel were in the desert for a short season of much testing, and countless times they didn’t trust God.

Surely how much more quickly would their trial have past if they had trusted God and soon the day of glory of the promised land would have come.

We to are like this:

Many of us have a promise from God, but He is greatly trying and testing us. Not once but it seems, time and time again. How often we may say “Lord when will you finally believe that I love and trust you” and “when will that promise come true”?

How many times have I been tested over and over again concerning a promise and still I must wait?

Yet, it is the testing that brings us close to God and God shows us glimpses of His glory and beauty, and thus we fall face down in awe of Him.

God says “Don’t give up on Me and don’t throw away that hope you have in me, the promised land will come in My time”

The promises I have made to you will happen, don’t give up and loose faith in Me.

Gods promises always come true, and when we are tempted to give up we must fall at His feet and seek His power to carry on, for He surely will help us.

Thank you, thank you, Song, for this post. It was exactly what I needed right now. A reminder that God is still working this out in me, and what He promised years ago will come to pass. Lord, forgive me for self-pity and stubborness. Continue to teach me in the desert. :prayer:

John 16:33
I've told you all this so that trusting me, you will be unshakable and assured, deeply at peace. In this godless world you will continue to experience difficulties. But take heart! I've conquered the world."
