The Perfect Kiss

I have never had a perfect kiss, I have kissed guys but it's never felt right - in fact I've regretted it right away. I am now holding off dating or getting close to guys until I feel it's right and then I can have the perfect kiss!!! As anybody else had the perfect kiss or still waiting? Is it something that makes you excited or nervous??

Maybe the perfect kiss really only comes with the person thats "perfect" for you... i.e., the one God would have you marry?

Its hard to know what you mean by the perfect kiss; its best to get to the stage where your so affectionate that kissing just expresses that; then any kind of kiss will feel perfect.

My girlfriend and I have decided to wait until the altar, for two reasons. One, it will mean more having been saved. Two, most importantly, we're convicted it would be dangerous for us. Can't speak for others, but for us, it is forbidden territory.

I agree with Paulewog - the perfect kiss is with the perfect match. Literally, a match made in heaven.

You know what my theory is? When you meet the guy that God wants you to marry, every kiss will be perfect because it's with him. That's the way it is for me at least. Every kiss with my fiance is perfect. It excites me every time I think about kissing him and I am definitely not nervous about it!

Yeah but you don't mean that literally do you? I'm sure there's not some God ordained perfect person out there for you so every time you kiss someone else it feels wrong?

I don't think there's reason to be overly poetic about it, I mean okay maybe God has someone out there for all believers who are called to be married, but with the kissing thing...no, I really don't think so. If it didn't feel right I'd say 1) you didn't really want to kiss them anyway, 2) if its the first time you've kissed them it probably wouldn't be perfect anyway because obviously first kiss is always a little daunting and everyone moves different lol you could miss and head butt each other. 3) if its just one time you were thinking about when it didn't feel right, anything could have gone wrong; lol maybe both ppl had just eaten Mexican wraps lol

I'm not sure about this one, I believe that there is one perfect person out there for everyone and that person is the only one you can have a perfect kiss with - i'm not saying that other kisses aren't good - just that they are not perfect. Just my opinion though!!

It depends what you mean by perfect; although its definitly possible to have a physically pleasing kiss with anyone; but yeah I agree in some way the 'perfect' kiss is only with your future wife/husband.

Oh come on people. This is ridiculous. The perfect kiss? God creating one person's lips and kissing style so particular that only when you kiss them will it be perfect? Lol. It's hilarious. That's a modification of a philosophy of this world. It goes with the idea of a perfect person that God creates for each one of us to be with. That's also a cultural philosophy. It's not only extrabiblical, but contra-biblical. It interferes with free will, with some of the writings of Paul on marriage decisions, and has potential to screw up a ton of marriages. *Not to mention*, if indeed this were some theological truth (either the "perfect kiss" or "perfect one" philosophies), why on earth would God keep something so vitally important from us?






*anyone else find this cliche phrase somewhat stupid?
