  • CF has always been a site that welcomes people from different backgrounds and beliefs to participate in discussion and even debate. That is the nature of its ministry. In view of recent events emotions are running very high. We need to remind people of some basic principles in debating on this site. We need to be civil when we express differences in opinion. No personal attacks. Avoid you, your statements. Don't characterize an entire political party with comparisons to Fascism or Communism or other extreme movements that committed atrocities. CF is not the place for broad brush or blanket statements about groups and political parties. Put the broad brushes and blankets away when you come to CF, better yet, put them in the incinerator. Debate had no place for them. We need to remember that people that commit acts of violence represent themselves or a small extreme faction.

....this really isnt about that movie but I thought I would jump on the bandwagon and make yet another thread with that title. :)

anyways,

what is your favorite scene in any movie ever made? why is it your favorite scene?

mine is the wedding scene in Braveheart. it so so cute and romantic, such a different tone then the rest of the movie. Its just a lovely scene, (never minding the whole, "we have to get married in secreat so the bride doesnt have to do it with a english officer on her wedding night" thing)

Well since Braveheart is my favorite movie ever:clap: ,

My favorite part would have to be the scene at the end of the first battle (the battle at stirling). After defeating the english army William Wallace stands infront of his countrymen, covered in blood, and nostrils flairing, he thrusts his blood splattered claymore straight up and lets loose with a fierce warcry YARRRRRGGGGHHHHH!!!!.. I get chills every time.
