The Jewish people didn't kill Jesus. The High Priest and his kronies saw to the deed and ultimatly it was Jesus who gave his life for all mankind. They also do a rather extraordinary job into the history of the Gospels, and the accurateness of the film.
Actually the Gospels show that Pilate was more than willing to release jesus. He knew if he had done so he would've had the chief priests against him. Being a governor who was already brought back to Rome to explain his actions of killing so many Jews he absolutely didn't want to cause another conflagragation. Now if i were to make a movie based off of information proven to be infactual would i not be wrong? Gospels or not they were written to gain followers even if it meant twisting the truth.If this is how Gibson protrays the event then he deserves credit for doing a good job but if the movie protrays the Jewish people as just being blood thristy for Jesus's death for no reason then I will agree that Gibson did a bad job.

Right, it's a movie about the belief people have about an event portrayed in the Gospels. Christians proclaim it as fact because they believe and know it is. Just don't jump to any conclusions.Ya know, the big hoopla about this film being anti-semitic is just fueling the interest even more and the higher the interest level the bigger the box office draw, I hope. I hope this film becomes a HUGE commercial success, so big in fact, that Hollywood's collective anti-Christian jaw drops wide open.
