I saw The Passion Of The Christ the other day for the first time and it is the most amazing piece of film making genius i have ever seen. Anyway, i was wondering what everyone else thought of it?

It was really good. Surprisingly accurate, although they did throw in a few things that were a little iffy, but nothing that really directly contradicted biblical fact, so it was okay.

It was a good experience for me. To see that visually, it felt like I was really there. Both horrifying and awesome at the same time.

The message is powerful and the film making great. Thought the portrayal of Satan was interesting.

I need to watch it again. We got it on DVD when it came out, but I don't think we've ever watched it since we got it.

Awesome. It really brought it home what Jesus did for us, and went through for us.

i liked it. saw it on DVD and have it on DVD. but it's one of those movies that i have and that i have watched and loved that i don't know if i'll watch a lot or again.

I thought it was really good to. I love how they protrayed the "realness" of the diciples. plus they captured the image of an "underground group" very well [the authorities were already looking for Jesus by the time he got into gathesmane. ]

One thing that DID disturb me though is I don't think it was as bloody as the film made it. I know people will show me passages to counter this... yet I dunno...

I saw it with my church a few/couple years ago. I liked the Gospel of John better. But it was good, though it shook up the old women at my church quite a bit. ><; I flinched a lot during the movie, seeing it wasn't exactly fun, but I understand that what Jesus did wasn't exactly fun either..
