"This year's ONE Sabbath season starts in October 2008 and runs through the first 100 days of the next administration.
During this critical time, as our leaders set national priorities, we can demonstrate our own priorities by holding worship services, small-group discussions and youth activities focused on ending extreme poverty and global disease.
Faith has always been a driving force behind social change. Individual congregations, organizations and denominations are already doing great anti-poverty work, and we are proud to partner with some of the best of them to bring you resources and materials to help you hold your own ONE Sabbath event."
