The older green day is better. They are begining to turn to mainstream, and its kinda ironic how in american idiot, they are stating exactly what their music is turning into.

Yeah, im listening to 'Boulevard of Broken Dreams'! Its such a good song, it just expresses the feelings of so many people including myself sometimes! Praise the Lord that someone does come and walk beside us through life, JC shows us love!

they've always been pop-punk right? how can they be turning mainstream if they've always been mainstream? :S besides... i can't see much difference between dookie and american idiot except american idiot has more production... it's the same style of music...
