So today I went to town and bought the War of Souls trilogy by Weis/Hickman. It was like highschool all over again~! I think cheesy and dorky things like this are cool. So what's the dorkiest thing you've done lately?

War of Souls is a trilogy of books in the Dragonlance series. Back in the 70's, this group of people wrote fantasy books based off of thier dungeons & dragons games, and *that's* Dragonlance. Besides Terry Brooks, it's basically the nerdiest thing ever. I love it. It's like nerdiness so pervasive, it condensed into book form.

Yeah, Spiderman looked pretty bad. Can anyone explain the difference between the movie and the comics???

I just dressed up for an 80's themed party on Saturday.. I had a sleevless jean jacket, popped collar, torn faded jeans, some black boots, sunglasses, and a purple walkman with headphones.. haha.

Oh man... I live in my nerdom! (insert nerdy emoticon here) As of late my nerdy-est moment was going through a list of the world's countries and all the American states trying to figure out what the people are called.... this was with my roommate and in our defense it was pretty late!

Did you know that there's a country named Benin?? I wonder if they're called Beninians?

Oh and people from Belgium are apparently flemish... not to be confused with phlemish.

I would have to say having my local comic book store hold some comics. I havent read comics in so long but needed something to read and thats what I picked. Also reading The Dark Elf Trilogy by R.A. Salvatore. Just like the person stated above, I feel like I am in highschool again. LOL

I'm nerdy in general, always was. I don't look it but my personality is certainly nerdy.

I never know the latest slangs; most recently was Friday when some co workers were talking and I had to ask what they were talking about.
I prefer books and art to partying.
I have a small circle of friends I can be myself with.
I was always considered weird... Still am.
I wear what I think looks good.

Generally, I was just off beat and unique, as people say, what made me nerdy was that, combined with the love of books and the passion for literature. I can live in my own world.

well lately I've been catching up on my Harry Potter theories for book 7 I've read heaps of editorials and essays on the subject and spent way too much time studying the cover art for clues about what will happen.

i've never been 'obsessed' with anything like that before, so this is all new fun and games for me!

Read the latest Drizzt Do'Urden book (Forgotten Realms)...must be like the 20th book in the series.... My life is basically a study in geekdom. True, I don't play D&D, but that is only due to lack of time and not interest.
