  • CF has always been a site that welcomes people from different backgrounds and beliefs to participate in discussion and even debate. That is the nature of its ministry. In view of recent events emotions are running very high. We need to remind people of some basic principles in debating on this site. We need to be civil when we express differences in opinion. No personal attacks. Avoid you, your statements. Don't characterize an entire political party with comparisons to Fascism or Communism or other extreme movements that committed atrocities. CF is not the place for broad brush or blanket statements about groups and political parties. Put the broad brushes and blankets away when you come to CF, better yet, put them in the incinerator. Debate had no place for them. We need to remember that people that commit acts of violence represent themselves or a small extreme faction.
  • We hope the site problems here are now solved, however, if you still have any issues, please start a ticket in Contact Us

Hmm. Full retractions for Fox, Newsmax, and "American Thinker".

OAN is just hoping no one will notice they originally published such material. (They have.)

So far Dominion Voting Systems has filed suits against "lawyers" Syndey Powell and Rudy Giuliani each for $1.3 billion for defamation. Who's next on their list?

(My guess would be Mike Lindell and possibly his pillow company.) Georgia(?) lawyer Linn Wood and ex-president Donald Trump would also seem to be viable targets. OAN should reconsider their "what article?" position.

If Eric Coomer hadn't of said "I made sure Trump wouldn't win" (paraphrasing, removed profanity)...I wouldn't have much question on Dominion. If Biden hadn't said "most extensive and inclusive voter fraud organization in the history of American politics" I wouldn't question to the degree that I am.

If there wasn't a mountain of evidence supporting the voter fraud narrative, I wouldn't believe it either. Just because "conservative" news media doesn't want to get sued so they look the other way doesn't mean 75 million Americans should do the same.

Wow. Really? A quote out of context is enough to dislodge?

If there was a mountain of evidence you saw it on those channels.

Those channels are now saying they lied to you.

They are trying to avoid a lawsuit because they lied to you. If the lawsuits were meritless they wouldn't care. They know.

They know they lied.

What will it take to get you to know they lied?

It's not out of context. I watched the entire 28 minute interview to be sure. Most people who are came to his defense just dismissed it as another Biden gaff, but I don't believe it was.

I'd there was a MoU twin of evidence you saw it on those channels.

Those channels are now saying they lied.

Not true. I didn't get the sources of the evidence from talking heads. I read some of the affidavits and looked at surveillance video.

Please turn off the news and look at the actual evidence.

If only that "Mountain of evidence" could be presented in a court of law.

Or to the republicans in charge of elections.

Or a reputable news source.

But instead we have highly partisan sources openly admitting they have no evidence. It is almost as if the evidence does not stand up to scrutiny.

But you don’t know that he said that, it’s a ridiculous conspiracy theory coming from one guy who claimed to "infiltrate’ Antifa. (Eye roll!)

Croomer is suing the people who spread the uncorroborated theory for defamation.

Really. Because it's pretty clearly a gaff.
What other evidence have you curated that leads you to that conclusion?

Oh you.
It's not the "talking heads". It's the implications that they inferred while PUBLISHING this material.

That's the point.

Woah woah...just a minute ago you said I took it out of context, now you say it's a gaff. So which is it?

...The sources have now told you that they lied to you.

At what point do you stop lying to yourself?
The commitment is for life.

Maybe a retraction by Trump himself might do the trick.

Nah, even then they'd say he's been threatened, or its a deep fake.... anything to avoid changing ones mind.

The whole point is that it is both. a gaff taking out of context that does not fit with the rest of the conversation he was saying.
How do you come to believe it can't be both?

Out of curiousty, are you also aware that his speech impediment will make him prone to misspeaking.

No skin off my back. I don't watch them.
So you found the material on the dark web?
Or other sources (who NO DOUBT quoted those sources)?

It wasn't a gaffe and Biden's team explained to the NYT what he was referring to. They put together a team to fight against voter suppression and fraud. If you watch the full interview it becomes clear that is what he was referring to.
He should have been more clear and the interviewers should have made it clear for those listening but he was talking to interviewers that had been involved in the Obama campaign.
I know that I have been in discussions where I confused the other person because I didn't give them enough info. and I had to back up and explain.

Well
Gaffe:
an unintentional act or remark causing embarrassment to its originator; a blunder.

Not sure how it's NOT a gaffe.

If their claims were TRUE there would be no reason for them to be scared.

You remember that right?

It seems when people say "the election was stolen" They are just saying "I am disappointed Trump lost"

Here's the thing: the latter ("I am disappointed") is a perfectly natural response. People say that all the time about campaigns and other things (like sports teams). When that's what you mean, say it. Don't make false claims about things like massive election fraud. It only makes you look foolish.

A Narcissist would not have the ability to simply say "I lost".

If you love a narcissist enough, you would ALSO have a hard time saying "they lost".

I don't think it was so much a "change of heart" as it was not wanting a "change of finances" lol.

I recall the idea of a pretty hefty lawsuit getting floated.
(the kind that a rinky dink outlet like OANN wouldn't be able to absorb)

Fox probably could absorb it and not go under, but the people in power over at Fox News (for all their many other biases and flaws) certainly know which hills aren't worth dying on from a financial aspect.
