  • CF has always been a site that welcomes people from different backgrounds and beliefs to participate in discussion and even debate. That is the nature of its ministry. In view of recent events emotions are running very high. We need to remind people of some basic principles in debating on this site. We need to be civil when we express differences in opinion. No personal attacks. Avoid you, your statements. Don't characterize an entire political party with comparisons to Fascism or Communism or other extreme movements that committed atrocities. CF is not the place for broad brush or blanket statements about groups and political parties. Put the broad brushes and blankets away when you come to CF, better yet, put them in the incinerator. Debate had no place for them. We need to remember that people that commit acts of violence represent themselves or a small extreme faction.

He once tied my little sister's hands behind her bck to her feet and laughed as she tried to get loose. He was always one of the rougher guys in school. Now I realize it was an act but it wa sure convincing. I used to be terrified of him. I would scream for no reason when he walked in the room. but then I was always a wimp and his loud voice scared me.

Your brother doesn't look nearly as much like a gorilla as mine. Therefore a little less scary. I got back from a barbeque a little while ago. It's freezing outside! I'm completely chilled. I'm stilll not warm and I'vve been back for about fifteen minutes. If I'd have known it was going to be this cold I would've brought my coat from dad's.

I don't know...I guess you never saw my brother's super-hairy back, which I'm afraid is a trait that I also seem to have inherited from somewhere.

Ah, it's good to be warm-natured . I could almost wear jean-shorts year-round and be comfortable.

Well, for one, I regretably can't swim anytime I want during the summer because I have no pool. Besides, there's only so much that you can do during the summer; beyond that, it just gets really boring and redundant for me.

That's a matter of opinion. I don't find sleeping all day and reading when I'm awake boring or redundant. I like to be able to relax every once in a while. You should try it. It takes the insanity level down a couple of notches. But, then again you don't have my family.
