  • CF has always been a site that welcomes people from different backgrounds and beliefs to participate in discussion and even debate. That is the nature of its ministry. In view of recent events emotions are running very high. We need to remind people of some basic principles in debating on this site. We need to be civil when we express differences in opinion. No personal attacks. Avoid you, your statements. Don't characterize an entire political party with comparisons to Fascism or Communism or other extreme movements that committed atrocities. CF is not the place for broad brush or blanket statements about groups and political parties. Put the broad brushes and blankets away when you come to CF, better yet, put them in the incinerator. Debate had no place for them. We need to remember that people that commit acts of violence represent themselves or a small extreme faction.

Dear W2L. The Lord is the Saviour, our Master and Friend. In Matthew 22: 35-40: Jesus tells us: The first and great Commandment is: Love God with all thy heart, with all thy soul, and with all thy mind. The second is like it: love thy neighbour as thyself. " Treat all you know and all you meet, treat them as you would want to be treated. God is Love, and God wants loving sons and daughters. Love is very catching, and if we are loving to all we meet, God will Bless us greatly; and we will the men and women which God wants us to be.
The Bible tells us: give up all selfish words and deeds, love each other as God Loves us, not kissing and cuddling, but always treat all as we would love to be treated. In Matthew 7: 7-10: we are told: Ask and you shall receive, we ask for love and compassion, for joy and peace, then we thank God and share it all around. God will see our love and deeds and God will Bless us greatly. Love grows, and before long we will be the children our Heavenly Father wants. Why not try it? dear W2L. I say this with love.
