I just had this wild idea. I'm a singer, and I'm just learning how to play the guitar. I thought I'd start a RPG about a group of young musicians, and their struggles to fulfill their dream to become a musician.

THE PLOT: A group of young musicians meet and decide to start a band. As the story progresses, it will show the struggles they go through. Like, getting used to each other, and eventually, competing against other bands. (The story is mainly about how they meet, their struggles, and then the competition. It sounds dull, but really I think it'll turn out really cool.)

RULES:
1. Please, no foul language.
2. No sexuality.
3. Thier can be romance, but please, please, please, don't have any kissing if your character is under the age of sixteen.
4. You can two main characters.
5. You can be any instrument, even if it's already taken. (EX: If there are already three guitarists, and you want your character to play the guitar, go ahead and have your character play the guitar.)
6. Your character doesn't HAVE to be saved, but I would preffer that they are.
7. Nothing with drugs or alchohol please.

If you have any other questions, please PM me. I would love to answer your questions.

Andi Garsea took a deep breath. It was her first day of her Senior year, and at a new school. She walked through the large double doors. She looked around. The halls were overflowing with students. She looked at her paper.
'My locker is number 102. Where's 102?' she asked herself. She walked around, until she finally found it. She put her things she didn't need in her locker, and turrned to go to her first period.

On her way there, she bumped into a younger girl.
"Oh, I am sorry." Andi said, helping the girl pick up her books.
"It's okay." the girl mumbled, and walked off.
Andi sighed and walked into her first class.

The day went by slowly. The only class Andi really looked forward to, was Chior. She walked into the Chior room. There were quite a few students, more than she had expected. She sat down in the corner, hoping no one would really notice her. Her plan worked, until the director came in.
"Alright class, settle down please. First of all, we have a student with us. Would, Andi Garsea please come down front please?"

It seemed like all the eyes in the room went to Andi. She slowly stood and walked to the front.
"This is Andi everybody. Andi, why don't you tell us a littl bit about yourself?"
"Um, okay."
Andi cleared her throat.
"I just moved here a couple weeks ago from California. I've been singing in chior's since I was four, so I've been singing for quite a while. I started playing the guitar two years ago. My dream is to, someday, be in a band."
"Thank you Andi. Welcome."
Andi smiled and walked back to her seat.

I really hope people join in on this.

Andi walked into the house and dropped her things on the floor next to the door.
"Hello sweetie." her mom said, walking from the kitchen. "How was your day?"
"Hectic and busy. I hope tomorrow is better." Andi said, sitting on the couch.
Andi's mom offered her some homemade chocolate chip cookies. Andi took a couple, gratefully.
"Where's dad?"
"He went to work."
"He got a job already?" Andi asked, turning towards her mother.
"Yes, isn't that great?" mom said excitedly.
"Yes! That's great. Where's Marshal?"
"Oh, he went to find a job also. Not being out in school, lying around the house almost made him sick."
Andi laughed. Marshal was her older brother. He was nineteen. Andi and Marshal couldn't more different, even if they tried. They had nothing in common, accept that they were related.

Andi picked up the phone.
"Hey Andi, it's Karl."
"Hey! How are you?"
"I'm okay. How's life in Oregon?"
"Cold and windy. I was the only one in the entire school wearing pants and a long sleeved shirt. I felt ridiculous."
Karl laughed.
"Figure something like that would happen to you."
"Oh, well thanks. I just changed my mind about coming down for the winter."
"You're coming down here for the winter? You never told me that!"
"I might. Mom has to make sure that we can make it. So don't wet your pants, just yet. I'll get back to you on that."
"So how's life?"
"Crazy. I've been here two weeks now, and I haven't met anyone at all. I feel like an outsider or something."
"Nah, once someone starts to get to know you, you'll be the most popular girl ever."
"That's what you said last year, and remember how that ended up?"
"It was a cake, Andi. No big deal."
"It was a cake alright, half way down my back."
"It was pretty good, too."
Andi laughed.
"Listen, I have to go. I have like, three pages of homework. I'll talk to you later."

Buzz was having a bad day at school, but in class, his mood had lifted. There was a new student in his class, and she was okay. He wasn't really paying attention, because he had been through this before, until she had said she hoped to be in a band someday. That had intrigued him.
Later that day, he lay on his bed thinking how close their dreams intersected. Sure, he hadn't been in choir, but he considered himself to be experienced in the electric guitars, the one with 6 strings.
"Andi," he said out loud, ideas forming in his head. Now, he would only need a drummer and a bass guitar, if his dream of forming a band of his own was to be realized.
"Andi," he said again, more to himself than anyone. "I am going to have to meet you face-to-face, sometime soon."

The next day came all to quickly. Andi walked through the caffeteria doors and sat down at a table by herself and started eating. No one really noticed her, which was actually what she'd hoped for. She opened her binder and took out a magezine. She began reading about some Christian bands, and how they started. Andi sighed.

"This is going to be very difficult." she said to herself.

"Not as difficult as you may think," Buzz said, as Andi lamented right in front of him. Startled, she turned to look at him, covering her issue of Christian Rock:Yesterday and Today "I've already read through a bunch of those issues," Buzz said. "And I think you starting up a band would be a great idea, seeing as this school's gotten a little boring, ya know?" He silently prayed, waiting for her response.

Andi just sat there, not exsactly sure what to say. This guy had really startled her. She smiled and laughed nervously as she felt herself start to blush.
"You like that idea?" she asked, feeling very stupid.
He nodded.
"Absolutely." he said, sitting down across from her.
Andi still felt nervous.
"Do you play an intrument?" she asked boldly, hoping he did.

Katie ran into the caffeteria and looked around. She spotted Buzz and ran over to the table he was sitting at. She was so excited, she didn't notice Andi.
"Buzz, my dad got the shed fixed! You should see it! We took all of the posters out of my room, and put them up in the shed. We even have all these like, toatally awesome lights, it looks like a real stage! It's awesome! But to get to my point, you said last week that you wanted to start a band right? Well, I got to thinking about it, and I think that is an awesome idea. We could use the shed as our, 'Area of Rock' or something. What do ya think?"

Andi didn't want to be rude and evesdrop, but she didn't want to get up and leave either. So she just sat there, still feeling like an idiot. She had to admit, the idea was really cool. She had to smile at the way this girl was very enthusiastic.

"That sounds real cool, Kate, but before you go into "chatterbox" mode, let me answer Andi's question first." He turned to Andi.
"I play the guitar. I had like, one year in a class, but my cousin taught me how to play the next 3 years. Ever since, I've been real good at it. Oh, and before you ask...I haven't seen him for several months now. He's kinda busy with college, but he has his own band. That's the day i thought, 'if he can do it, then so can i.'" He turned back to Katie.
"Kate, i'd like ya to meet Andi. She's gonna be in our band. I mean, if it's ok with her." Silently, he knew in his heart she wouldn't pass this up.

Katie smiled.
"Let me warn you before you make a decision, Buzz here talks way too much. I learned everything I know from him. He just likes to hide it." Katie said jokingly.
Andi laughed.
"Well, that's okay cause I talk alot too."
"Oh good. You'll be able to keep up in our conversations, then. That's awesome." Katie sat down next to Andi and started asking questions like, "Where are you from?" "Do you have any siblings?" "What do your parents do?" "When did you get involved with music?"
Andi answered them.

Ding-Dong, said the bell.

"Ah, finally, my favorite classes of the day; Jazz Band and Choir. See ya 4th period, Andi!!!!" Buzz ran off to his Jazz Band class. He hoped he would see Nate there. Maybe he would finally agree to joining his rapidly forming band. And he would HAVE to see that expert-like drum solo...

Andi's next class went by fast, although she was paying attention, every now and then she'd think about the band and get butterflies in her stomach. She never thought that a dream could start coming true so fast! Before she knew it, is was time for choir. She went to her locker and put her things away and headed to the choir room.

Katie ran down the hall to he chior room. She got there at the same time as Andi. They both smiled and greeted each other. Katie made sure that Andi would sit next to her. They went inside and sat down as the other students slowly made their way in. Katie looked over at Andi.
"So, what kind of an instrument do you play?" she asked.
"I play electric guitar, but not lead. I do background. I tried to do lead once in a youth service, and it blew. Partly because I hadn't done lead before, but I'm more comfortable doing background anyways. Do you play an instrument?"
Katie laughed.
"No. I tried taking pianno lessons, but it's too proper for me. I preffer just, singing."

Once the students were settled, the class began. They were each given their music.

"Hmmm..." said Buzz, looking at the music. Buzz looked up. Across the room from him was Andi and Katie, whispering to each other. Suddenly, the teacher, Mrs. Spinelli, walked into the classroom. "Thank you for passing out the music, Denise. Now let's begin with warm-ups. 1-2-3..." And they started to go through their scales. Buzz noticed that, above all the hub-bub, he could hear Andi and Katie better. Probably because I'm listening for them, Buzz thought. He shrugged, continuing with the exercise.

Andi looked at the music as the class did their warm ups. I know this song! she thought. After the warm ups were done, Mrs. Spinelli led them through the first verse and chorus.
"For those of you who were in choir last year, you know this song. Fell free to lead out."
At the same time, Katie and Andi both started singing. Katie was singing the melody, while Andi harmonized. Mrs. Spinelli led the rest of the class along with them.

Nate Nelson was in his best class: Art. They were making one-point perspectives, which, for Nate, weren't too hard. As he continued to draw, he glanced at the clock. Five to three, Nate thought. Gotta meet Buzz at his house at 3:30, then I'm taking a nap at my place. He became absorbed into his drawing again.

Soon, almost too soon, choir was over and everyone was packing up their books and things to go home. Katie looked at Andi.
"We make quite a team when it comes to singing." she said.
They both laughed.
"We sure do." Andi agreed.
"Hey Buzz!" Katie yelled across the room.
"What are you doing today?"

Kaite rolled her eyes and smiled.
"He always has surprises. Wonder what this one is." she said.
Andi laughed.
"Hey, why don't you come over to my house until we go over to Buzz's?" Katie asked.
Andi nodded.
"Sure. I just have to call my mom first, let her know where I'm going."

Andi and Katie laughed as they entered her house, Andi was introduced the Katie's family. Katie looked at the clock. They had ten minutes.
"Well, we'd better get to Buzz's house. He doesn't live too far away from here, but we don't want to be late." she said, half seriously half sarcastically.
The two girls ate a small snack first, and then headed towards Buzz's house.
