Even some of the Democrats that I work with said that Biden was not good during this debate, and was tired. We need a young, purple candidate in the middle, neither left nor right. A center right person, or maybe a pro-life Democrat would get my vote.

When one lives in a bubble, all those outside of the bubble are all perceived as a threat....the enemy. Joe Scarborough still holds dear his conservative beliefs, and his only crime is his honesty to tell the truth about the Donald, and the rightists just cannot see that they are backing the wrong guy.

They are in meltdown because they are in touch with reality, and see how poorly Biden did.

Unlike the right wing media which has come to accept and embrace the continual stream of lies which issues forth from the mouth of Mr Trump.

For those asking us "to imagine what four years of a Trump presidency would be like" - the answer is "wake up and read the news for the prior four years".

Same goes for those who would like to "imagine" what a Biden presidency "would be like". One where Obama's Crimea being handed over to Putin was not nearly enough - no a big chunk of Ukraine would need to be sacrificed as well under Biden. One where the EU and Russia would be at the brink of war.

It's hard to be objective about Putin's collaborator.

If you think Crimea was lost to Putin under Trump's presidency then you need to re-check your resent history.

Putin made zero gains under Trump as compared to Obama and Biden. I don't see how this one is even a little bit confusing.

Indeed - everyone saw -- what "insiders" have been seeing for the past few years. Truth is a lot of that came out in his televised meet-and-greet with the press and foreign leaders for the past few years but in those days there was no "impending election" no "Vote holding him to accountability".

But now we are in an election year - and both sides know that the same "we do not care you are not in charge of us" response does not work well when it is a presidential election year.

Notice all the left-in-flames news cllps - but no republicans-in-flames news clips even given the criticism the reviewer gives to both candidates.

That is true. Sadly, I can only count them on one hand.

Henry Cuellar, Treneé McGee, and Terrisa Bukovinac are the only pro-life Democrats who were in any small election since 2020. The third failed to get in office.

Mr Trump supporters have drunk the Kool-Aid. They have completely given in to the fact that he lies continually. That was on display in spades last night.

It is telling, of course, that while democratic voices are concerned about their candidates suitability, Republican voters seem perfectly at ease with a candidate who repeatedly lies to them.

I was asking @JustOneWay about the BBC. But yes, both candidates have been swayed by foreign entities.

Trump got more votes than Obama and more than any incumbent president in all of history.

By contrast Biden "campaigned from his basement" and had rallies of "tens" of possibly a hundred...etc -- as compared to Trump's thousands in attendance at his rallies.

No Campaign strategy in all of US history claimed that "running for office of the President from your basement" was a winning strategy. So "yeah" it was reasonable for Republicans to "believe" that without "blow-out support" at Biden's rallies - it was not at all clear that he would get "blow out voter turn out" in the weeks following election day voting to turn things around.

I don't see how that part of the equation for what would normally be "expected" was in the least bit beyond reason.

They have completely given in to the fact that he is a serial liar. That was on display in spades last night.

Until you wake up to the facts.

Trump never faced Obama in an election. Comparing votes of incumbents is irrelevant.

Besides, Joe Biden beat Trump by 7 million votes. Second place finishers seldom have the gall to claim such a ridiculous claim that he finished first at something as the loser.

The truth is - Trump got more votes than any incumbent, and still lost.
