  • CF has always been a site that welcomes people from different backgrounds and beliefs to participate in discussion and even debate. That is the nature of its ministry. In view of recent events emotions are running very high. We need to remind people of some basic principles in debating on this site. We need to be civil when we express differences in opinion. No personal attacks. Avoid you, your statements. Don't characterize an entire political party with comparisons to Fascism or Communism or other extreme movements that committed atrocities. CF is not the place for broad brush or blanket statements about groups and political parties. Put the broad brushes and blankets away when you come to CF, better yet, put them in the incinerator. Debate had no place for them. We need to remember that people that commit acts of violence represent themselves or a small extreme faction.
  • We hope the site problems here are now solved, however, if you still have any issues, please start a ticket in Contact Us

While I respect Dan Brown for his imagination and his well put together novel, I have trouble with those who could actually believe that Mary Magdeline and Jesus were married. First of all, back in those days the average life time was 53 years old. Second, they married between the ages of 13 and 15 years old back then. Jesus would have been considered an outcast for not being married, but at the same time......the apostles were very jealous because Jesus supposedly love Mary more than He love his apostles. So....if that were the case, then if Jesus did indeed marry Mary Magdeline when it was custom.....why would the disciples be jealous 20 years later?? Can someone answer this for me?? I have been struggling to find the answer, I guess maybe because I believe that Jesus never married.

If you're talking about The DaVinci Code, that is a work of fiction. There is really no truth to it. People get that mixed up all the time, though. :(

Anyway, welcome to CF! Check the FAQs if you have questions. That's what everybody tells me, though I haven't done it yet. I will get there.

Dan Brown's Da Vinci Code is fiction. If you want to know more about our Lord Jesus Christ, always trust what the Holy Bible says about Jesus. If anything goes against the Word of God, it is false.
