The Last Mimzy

I saw this afternoon and I just want to let everyone know this:

If you have a child, I would highly recommend that you go see this film alone, first, to see if you want your child to see this.

Although the reviews looked neat and cool looking, the content of the whole movie is certainly not Christian.

It has a mixture of Buddihism, mysticisim, aliens and New Age all garbled up into a package of 1 1/2 movie.

I never had a strong reaction to a movie before, but this one is the first.

The plot is very weak, it never really explained why the Last Mimzy, the rabbit, came to earth in the first place. It said something about looking for a "gene" that they need in order to save thier world in the future.

It was just simply horrible and it didn't make sense and I am an adult. Imagine what a kid is thinking?

Waste of $4.00 it was!

I had already decided I wasn't going to see this because of reading a review at IMDb that mentions the science teacher sleeping with his fian`ce,who of course was insulted in the message board,but there are a few of us,who do acknowlege that pre-martial sex,is wrong,and we do not want our children or grandchildren to get the idea they should be unconcerned about morality,especially if they 'profess' to be followers of Christ!

I realize you didn't mention the moral issues,so I hope you don't mind if I added mine,just hoping some would appreciate knowing in advance.

It's a movie for kids, but what they show is for adults.

I took the grandchildren and they liked it. They are well aware that what they see at the movies is not real life. Same with books and TV.
