  • CF has always been a site that welcomes people from different backgrounds and beliefs to participate in discussion and even debate. That is the nature of its ministry. In view of recent events emotions are running very high. We need to remind people of some basic principles in debating on this site. We need to be civil when we express differences in opinion. No personal attacks. Avoid you, your statements. Don't characterize an entire political party with comparisons to Fascism or Communism or other extreme movements that committed atrocities. CF is not the place for broad brush or blanket statements about groups and political parties. Put the broad brushes and blankets away when you come to CF, better yet, put them in the incinerator. Debate had no place for them. We need to remember that people that commit acts of violence represent themselves or a small extreme faction.
  • We hope the site problems here are now solved, however, if you still have any issues, please start a ticket in Contact Us

If the internet did not exist, and I had to learn the old fashion way, I would not have passed my classes. I don't know how any of you who did college before internet passed your classes. But online makes easier for stupid people, like me, to pass.

If I don't understand something, I just look it up on the internet. I learn through them. They dumb it down for me.

Online training has its benefits and drawbacks. During my training, I did a lot of online study using a site called Moodle but I had to spend 50% of my time on practical placements.

As part of my job, I have to do continuing education/training to keep my registration. In the past couple of years I've done resuscitation/adult life support updates, venepuncture, catheterisation and verification of death. None of these can be realistically done online, because it requires a trainer to be present to assess your skills.

I'm doing online college and love it. It's great with my health problems, and I've still done things like internships in person. Although I volunteer online too. :)
