  • CF has always been a site that welcomes people from different backgrounds and beliefs to participate in discussion and even debate. That is the nature of its ministry. In view of recent events emotions are running very high. We need to remind people of some basic principles in debating on this site. We need to be civil when we express differences in opinion. No personal attacks. Avoid you, your statements. Don't characterize an entire political party with comparisons to Fascism or Communism or other extreme movements that committed atrocities. CF is not the place for broad brush or blanket statements about groups and political parties. Put the broad brushes and blankets away when you come to CF, better yet, put them in the incinerator. Debate had no place for them. We need to remember that people that commit acts of violence represent themselves or a small extreme faction.

A major research institution has just announced the discovery of the heaviest element yet known to science. The new element has been named "Governmentium". Governmentium has one neutron, 12 assistant neutrons, 75 deputy neutrons, and 224 assistant deputy neutrons,
giving it an Atomic mass of 311.

These 311 particles are held together by forces called morons, which are surrounded by vast quantities of lepton-like particles called peons. Since Governmentium has no electrons, it is inert. However, it can be detected, as it impedes every reaction with which it comes into contact.

A minute amount of Governmentium causes one reaction to take over 4 days to complete when it would normally take less than a second.

Governmentium has a normal half-life of 4 years; it does not decay, but, instead undergoes a reorganization in which a portion of the Assistant neutrons and deputy neutrons exchange places.

In fact, Governmentium's mass will actually increase over time, since each reorganization will cause more morons to become neutrons, forming isodopes. This characteristic of moron-promotion leads some scientists to believe that Governmentium is formed whenever morons
reach a certain quantity in concentration. This hypothetical quantity is referred to as "Critical Morass". When catalyzed with money Governmentium becomes Administratium, an element which radiates just as much energy, since it has 1/2 as many peons but twice as many morons.

hehe Give it time. ^_^

Actually, it's not the goverment, per se. It's the people running it.^_^

No no I understand that it's a joke, but why are they always about the government? I think sometimes rather it being a "youth thing" to not understand why everyone dislikes the government, it's an "adult thing" to feel obligated to dislike the government.

lol, that's good. Yamialpha, it's just something that comes. I don't know if you've ever seen some of the stupidity that takes place in our government, both in the past and the present, but once you see that, you have to think "How did these morons ever get jobs running our country?" Or you might be one of those people that don't like government jokes. I don't understand it, but there are people who just don't get why people find them funny.

I'm well aware of the stupidity that occurrs in the government. However, I am also aware of that for any issue x, the politicians know 10x more than the average person, so it is possible that what we consider wrong moves or a lack of action could be justified by a reason we don't know about. What bothers me the most about the government is the criminal records of the members of Congress. Has anyone seen those statistics? Makes you feel confident about the people who create hundreds of laws each year to keep the rest of us in line.
