I don't care if you like her or not -- Melissa Etheridge is one strong woman! I cannot imagine coming out onstage to perform in front of who-knows-how-many people, bald from chemotherapy! And with her usual energy and showmanship!

yeah, i think they were inducted into the RRHOF in the mid-90's.

To the best of my knowledge, Zep was inducted in 1995 (I looked this up not too long ago). I believe I read somewhere that Ozzy asked for Sabbath to be taken off the ballot when they were first nominated, and although they weren't, they weren't voted in. I don't think they have been yet...that shows what the Rock n' Roll Hall of Fame means to me.

I'm happy about Zeppelin
but they ruined one of my favorite Beatles songs- Across the Universe. It was horrible. I don't care how talented the musicians are, you can't get a group together and let them start randomly singing a song however they want.

I liked the gospel section with Kanye West and a part my Ben Harper & The Blind Boys of Alabama. Kanye got robbed out of best new artists again. He does need to realize though that talented artisits haven't been getting their due at the Grammy's and other major awards shows for a long time now and his situation is nothing special.

It's all about self esteem, homey. Gotta have lotsa awards for doing what htey do for a job- wouldn't that be funny if normal people started doing this? The best cashier! The best car maker! The fastest assembly line operator! etc, Never happen, normal people get their positive feedback in the form of a paycheck, & getting to keep their job (which is the same with famous people, only we're not such whiney babies as they are constantly seeking pats on the back & fawning sycophants slobbering over us)
