  • CF has always been a site that welcomes people from different backgrounds and beliefs to participate in discussion and even debate. That is the nature of its ministry. In view of recent events emotions are running very high. We need to remind people of some basic principles in debating on this site. We need to be civil when we express differences in opinion. No personal attacks. Avoid you, your statements. Don't characterize an entire political party with comparisons to Fascism or Communism or other extreme movements that committed atrocities. CF is not the place for broad brush or blanket statements about groups and political parties. Put the broad brushes and blankets away when you come to CF, better yet, put them in the incinerator. Debate had no place for them. We need to remember that people that commit acts of violence represent themselves or a small extreme faction.

The Gospel of John the movie

I know there have been some other threads about this movie, but they are all quite old (Feb '04).

This movie is out in the video stores and for sale on DVD in the States.
Not certain about the UK release date, but will find out if needed.
I am not sure if there will be any more theater releases this summer.
Details can be found at gospelofjohnthefilm site.

This is an exceptional movie. The cinematography is amazing. The location, costumes, music...all excellent. But the real deal is Henry Ian Cusick's Jesus...he was phenomenal. You've never seen the Son of Man like this...charismatic, compassionate, self-assured, joyful...he gave us a Jesus of honesty and warmth.

I have a yahoo email group (gojo) that has pics and links, etc. related to the movie and Henry Ian. Come and visit. Looking to hear from people who are fans of either or both!
