  • CF has always been a site that welcomes people from different backgrounds and beliefs to participate in discussion and even debate. That is the nature of its ministry. In view of recent events emotions are running very high. We need to remind people of some basic principles in debating on this site. We need to be civil when we express differences in opinion. No personal attacks. Avoid you, your statements. Don't characterize an entire political party with comparisons to Fascism or Communism or other extreme movements that committed atrocities. CF is not the place for broad brush or blanket statements about groups and political parties. Put the broad brushes and blankets away when you come to CF, better yet, put them in the incinerator. Debate had no place for them. We need to remember that people that commit acts of violence represent themselves or a small extreme faction.

The Muslims claim the God of the Bible is the same God of the Koran. He is not!

The Bible says that "there is one God, there is no other God besides me, I know of none."

The God of the Bible sent His Son to die for our sins. The God of the Koran sent his messenger Muhammad to proclaim, "kill the infidel if he believes not."

The God of the Koran only lives in the mind of its believer. In other words, he does not exist as a being!

The Bible itself clarifies that what is being claimed is refuted. Soundly.

The bottom line, is that ANYONE who rejects Jesus the Christ, the only begotten Son of the living God, the God of the living, as "divine', is speaking falsely, and insulting the God of the Bible and insulting His only begotten Son, Who He GAVE for those who WOULD BELIEVE the living God, and believe IN this GIFT that HE gave to the world, for those who WOULD believe what HE says, and not what they choose to believe themselves, insulting the living God in the process.

You might want to research it further. "Allah" simply means "god", does it not?

In addition, is that name in "sync" with ANYTHING or ANY NAME that the living God, El Elyon calls HIMSELF, anywhere throughout His Word?

Thank you kindly.

Would you care to elaborate?

Thank you kindly.
"The God of the Bible" makes it sound like He was contained only in the Bible.
PLease elaborate on where you're taking this, if you don't mind.

Where ELSE does God specifically reveal Himself, which would be in sync with what HE has revealed in His Word?

As it is written:

"Thy word is a lamp unto my feet, and a light unto my path." ~Ps 119:105

Where ELSE is there a "lamp unto our feet" and a "light unto our path"?

Thank you kindly.

He didn't dictate the Quran but Allah is his Arab name
In Arabic"Allah" is the specific name for their God. "Ilah" is the generic name for god, in Arabic.
If the God of the Arabs is the God of Abraham, Isaac and Jacob He would have the same name that the God of the Bible has which was given to Moses, unless God changed His name in the 100s of years between Moses and Muhammad.

Exodus 3:14 And God said unto Moses, I AM THAT I AM: [אהיה אשׁר אהיה ] and he said, Thus shalt thou say unto the children of Israel, I AM [אהיה] hath sent me unto you.
Exodus 3:15 And God said moreover unto Moses, Thus shalt thou say unto the children of Israel, The LORD God of your fathers, the God of Abraham, the God of Isaac, and the God of Jacob, hath sent me unto you: this is my name for ever, and this is my memorial unto all generations.

The God of the Bible is not contained only in the Bible.
The Bible is the only record of the real and living God. It is His own inspired record of Himself, His nature and character, and His ways.

Allah is the generic name of God in Arabic when that is convenient to Muslims. And it is the specific name of the true God, according to them, when that is convenient to them.

God revealed Himself in the Person of Jesus Christ. Jesus Christ is God manifest in the flesh. Because the Father is invisible and no one has ever seen Him, the appearances of God in the Old Testament were of the Son of God, the Second Person in the Trinity, who appeared to man in human form and was described as the Angel of the Lord.
