Erwin, could we possibly change the Announcement on the front page to instead announce the newspaper? The Characters have been out for over a month now, and it would be nice if the Newspaper could have the advertisment the characters got.

I agree - there are certainly some great articles in the paper, so giving it a "primetime" advertisement would make the hard work of the Newspaper staff worthwhile

Wow! I am so impressed by the newspaper! Awesome job to those to worked on putting together this first issue. Can't wait for the next one to come out!

Constructive criticism: The layout needs some work, the gray sections column takes up valuable real estate that could be used for article text. Perhaps putting the section selections at the top of the page? Some arcticles had only a few characters per line, I used to take graphic design classes and there was this unwritten law of the minimum acceptable number of characters per line that people will take the time to read, anything less than that makes people want to skip it. I don't recall the exact number but some of those columns made me want to skip the article.

My one complaint would be that for some reason I wasn't allowed to allowed to access the men's section, but that's probably just a technical hitch.

I liked the interviewing a member and moderator bit in particular.

Actully , by the time we published the paper we still had some missing spots and certain people were not ever able to write an article for it. So there was no men's section along with one other, I think.

You could simply save the link in your bookmarks and view it when it's up. It would be very hard to email the newspaper to EVERY member on CF, that wanted it.
