this is something that came my way, i thought i'd share it.
giving into temptation as progressive, contemporary, or under grace... the predictable progression of impurity...
Psalms 119:11 your word have i hidden in my heart, that i might not sin against You.
most of us know that the Bible is filled with why and how to be pure. this above was part of an excersize i dentifying the lies we tell or listen to reguarding impurity. since being impure is the reason why we are seperated from God and is such an important part of our faith, i wanted to post this. seeing it written either makes you think or shows you how far you've grown. another part of the excersize was to write down the lies in your life. from the things that we internalize (like for me... to think things like i'm stupid or that i never get things right) to the impuities we either intertain in our thoughts or with our hands. seeing it written is a real conviction. my list is in my Bible.

- tolerate it even though you know it isn't right.
- justify it as a regular accepted practice.
- protect it as a right or freedom.
- i can't exspect purity... it's not in my nature.
- these days you just can't stay away from everything.
- it's an addiction, an illness, that's why.
- i'm under grace, it's small, i'll do it just this time.
- i'll go ask for forgiveness, i go to chuch, i'm good in other areas.
- doing things without even thinking because it's a habbit.
