Why People believe in Evolutuon is beyond me. There are so many hole is the big fairy tale theory. To me I just see someone has to much pride in theirselfs and don't want to omit that God is True. If it was all over the news "EVOLTION, ITS A FRAUD" What would you do? I think its just an excuse to live your life the way that you want to. It gives you an excuse to leave God out of the picture. With Evolution you don't have to believe in God, but anyways, I have found some links that says evolution is a Fraud. Let me know what you think, and why do people fraudulently deceive the people who believe in evolution if there is so much evidence to support it? For the one's that are Christian and believes in Evolution, you need to start at the first page in the bible. For Christians that believe in Evolution, explane to me why you do not believe in God's words. God said he formed us from dust of the earth. He created man on the 6th day, in his own image. doesn't say we evolved from a Rock.

I do take some pride in my work. That includes spelling and grammar. This is not a bad thing. And in case it has escaped your notice, many theists accept evolution.

I might look up "evoltion" in my dictionary. I would deplore the bad grammar and spelling. Now if it said "EVOLUTION, iT'S A FRAUD", I would read the article and examine the evidence presented. I would check the date to see if it were all fools day. The rest of the year not everyone is a fool.

I don't need an excuse to leave the malignant moron portrayed in your Bible out of my list of probable realities. My God is somewhat different.

Congratulations! You spelled "evolution" correctly. But why did you capitalize "Fraud"?

In any case we have seen those links before. The formal debate section is probably not where we should discuss them, as in formal debate you are supposed to present your own work, backed by evidence which may or may not be in the form of links.

We are not so easily deceived, though creationists often try.

For the one's that are Christian and believes in Evolution, you need to start at the first page in the bible.

You do realize, don't you, that you do not have to believe in the inerrancy of the Bible to believe the moral teachings of Jesus?

Even the old testament doesn't require me to believe nonsense.

For Christians that believe in Evolution, explane to me why you do not believe in God's words.

Many Christians seem to believe that the Bible uses metaphor and parable to elucidate moral truths for simple-minded folk.

To a geologist dust is rock.

You have to do a little of the work here. Suppose you present one point from one site and we can discuss it. Then when we are sure we understand each other we can move to another point.

What makes you so sure that Evolution or something like evolution isn't a part of Gods Creation?

The problem with pure creationism is the belief that the earth was created 6000 years ago. Once people hear that, pure creationists loose all credibility.

Alright, so I felt slightly bad and decided to post a half-decent response.

Links are all PRATTs from start to finish, can be summarised in two points:

Dr Kent Hovind - debunked so many times it boggles the mind, regularly shifts his goalposts on his "challenge" (kinda hard to give out a reward if you ignore the evidence), and given that he's currently in jail for tax evasion I wouldn't believe Him capable of discerning much from the Bible.

Hoaxes - I really have difficulty with this one. Let me put it simply:
Those hoaxes were all debunked decades ago. BY SCIENTISTS. Not creationists. And no scientist in their right mind would use them as evidence, and they are not treated as such.
How exactly does that help your argument?

Also, regarding theistic evolution, there's nothing in the Bible that literally says to take it literally, no literalist has ever given me a straight answer on that one. Also no two people will come to the same interpretation of the Bible without a huge degree of disagreement, collusion and compromise - the number of times I've seen two fundamentalist Christians, both claiming to be full of the Holy Spirit, claiming that their literalist interpretation is the right one - it has the same problems as any other method of interpretation, so please don't stick with the "THIS IS WHAT THE BIBLE SAYS AND THAT'S THAT" routine, it's untenable.
