That's a good ideaI have a suggestion. This is the best way to learn something like this too, when people are speaking it around you. Copy and paste things that we are saying into Google and search them. If it is a common phrase, and not something we figured out ourselves, it will probably show up in some phrase book or another. Try it.
that is really good!Oh darn, never mind- you have to register if you want to see it there. I'll just post some of it here. Here's a quote from the Bible translated into Hallekífri. It's from Psalms 10:
Pase O Id chetef sempa afa vakte? Pase chetef lufa tefrosa channisina so teshan? Hita tefro pat O Kristor! Che nelpe gana utt paldisa!
Translation: Why O Lord, do you stand far off? Why do you hide yourself in times of trouble? Lift up your hand O God! Do not forget the helpless!
Woohoo, good for youI am still here. I am going to be here for a long time, as I am training to become a moderator.
Congrats! I too am still here, though not as much as I used to (welcome to the world of a second semester Junior!!)I am still here. I am going to be here for a long time, as I am training to become a moderator.
Four words: I FEEL YOUR PAIN.Congrats! I too am still here, though not as much as I used to (welcome to the world of a second semester Junior!!)
*Nods* Those horrid things known as SATs, not to mention homework and putting together our list of colleges/universities to apply to. And maybe squeezing in some extracurriculars and social life if you can.Four words: I FEEL YOUR PAIN.
I am in exactly the same boat and I know the rubbish that we're trying to slog through.
Quite sure. I've got SO much on my plate this semester it's ridiculous. This includes putting together med school apps, studying for the MCAT, finishing up my research project, preparing for my junior recital and an organ competition, asking my profs for letters of recommendation...Wait a minute, you're 16 and already in university???????????? Are you sure it's not something else?
*Looks up at the age again just to be sure* So that would make you... what, 13? 14? when you entered university? Blood and ashes! Having had two older brothers go to college in the U.S. and knowing from them and their friends (not to mention my parents and teachers) what it's like, I frankly think that's way too young to be dealing with that amount of freedom and the level of personal responsibility needed for one to succeed at that level. Not that I'm not impressed; I most definitely am, especially since you seem to have pulled it off. From one aspiring doctor to another, congrats. Major congrats. I myself will settle for my SATs and art history tests and college application process and deal with junior year of college when it comes.Quite sure. Enjoy yourself while you still can.
14. But, I do live at home, since I live in a major university town.*Looks up at the age again just to be sure* So that would make you... what, 13? 14? when you entered university? Blood and ashes!
