I guess the bouncy castle has some advantages - it's portable, it's quick and easy to set up, it's cheap, the novelty might pique some interest... but, umm, wow, that shade of pink!

The blue shoe doesn't seem too bad

I have actually been inside St. Francis de Sales, the last picture in the article. It's even uglier from the outside---looks like some kind of big, concrete "sail". The inside is just more of that ugly gray concrete brutalism, and no matter how hot it gets outside, the inside of that building is always cold.

There's not much you could do to improve it, but about 10,000 gallons of white paint on the inside walls might help.

My first thought when I saw this thread was my church could be on the list. Michie said it was pretty around Christmastime but that’s only because the pre lit Christmas trees dressed it up. It’s your typical 70’s style church in the round,and has a Mary/Jesus mosaic behind the altar.

Ok, never mind. I saw the list and those churches make me appreciate mine, after all. but the one on the bottom isn’t as ugly as the rest of them.

I actually had a man from the same diocese from mine complain about the Cathedral.

On the other hand...

We are the most conservative diocese in the nation and we are blessed with many young men discerning for the priesthood, and have most priest per Catholic in the nation, as well as many young women join religious life, because all of our women religious and nuns wear the habit.

Deer in the headlights sort of interesting as far as buildings go I guess. You can’t look away due to shock. We go to Las Vegas for this sort of stuff.
