Well, you know--YOUR RIGHT!! Makes no sense---He could have done it in less---
Psa_33:9 For he spake, and it was
done; he commanded, and it stood fast.
Jer_32:27 Behold, I am Jehovah, the God of all flesh: is there anything too hard for me?
Pro_3:5 Trust in Jehovah with all thy heart, And lean not upon thine own understanding:
(Rev 10:6 KJV) And sware by him that liveth for ever and ever, who created heaven, and the things that therein are, and the earth, and the things that therein are, and the sea, and the things which are therein, that there should be time no longer:
Maybe you should look up the word "sound"-new research is quite fascinating---the power of sound. We have no idea what the voice of God can do--the bible says He spoke a world into existence---His voice raises the dead, His voice, calms a raging sea--makes no "common sense" that the bible says God created light before He created the sun---look up the word "light"--there are many aspects to it--including what is called "invisible light" --- invisible to us---not to God. They are just learning about the many aspects of light now.
From a scientific publication about new sound technology--
That sound-powered equipment can accomplish these tasks seems almost magical—and rightly so: Arthur C. Clarke once remarked that "any sufficiently developed technology is indistinguishable from magic." Below we attempt to reveal the legerdemain and explain the simple physics that makes thermoacoustic machines possible.

Common sense should prevail---and common sense says he earth is round---have you seen the other planets? Every other planet is round. Every other planet but ours is round???? Is that common sense?? You want to apply what the bible says literally---but you refuse to accept what the literal says in the original Hebrew---is that common sense?? You only want to apply modern meaning to an ancient language whos manner of writing can deal more with "impressions" then the literal? Do you understand the Hebrew language at all? You realize that a word can mean more than one thing depending on the context? Even the word "god" as used in Psalms 82 can be not Just God, but judges, people of authority.
Human "common sense" based on our meager knowledge and the power of God don't have much in common.
