There once was a poem
who was a little diverse
he seemed to have smileys
at the end of each verse
People walked by
and read him with ease
they liked how he was
he was just there to please
But the big books saw this
And didn't like it one bit
So they planned something dark
and threw him into a pit
The small poem slowly wept
he didn't know why
the books had to hurt him
and leave him to die
Then something filled up the hole
with glory and light
it was the greatest book ever written
shining so bright
He said to the poem
don't be afraid
I'm the one you called upon
when you stopped and prayed
So don't ever feel down
for such things must come
so start feeling happy
and never feel glum
So The greatest book ever
lifted him out of the hole
And filled him with light
making him whole
Now i have to go
but ready for when
i come once more
amen and amen
The end
it wouldn't let me have smileys at the end of each verse
who was a little diverse
he seemed to have smileys
at the end of each verse
People walked by
and read him with ease
they liked how he was
he was just there to please
But the big books saw this
