Parents do not always know how a child will react to things.

I was speaking of when parents can. And, they do.

There are times when parents just know what a child will do. That does not nullify that child's free will.

An omniscient creator would know from the beginning of mankind that through the ages billions of people would be non-believers and therefore destined to suffer eternal torment.

What if God has revealed that He has the ability to step outside of His omniscience? And, is able to choose to decide certain things without having foreknowledge? Temporarily suspend His ability?

He revealed that ability through Jesus Christ. For Jesus was God who made Himself to become as a man. Jesus was not omniscient while he had to remain as a man. That is why he needed to depend upon the Father and Holy Spirit for his every need. After he died in our place he no longer needed to remain as a man... He then returned to Heaven to resume his previous position in power.

Don't believe it. Yet, it explains it.

If your god steps out from its omniscience, then in order to have a level playing field it would have to step out from its omniscience for every human being that ever lived and for those yet to live. As the future is shaped by the things human beings do it would be strange if an omniscient being made that omniscience redundant.
As for the death of Jesus, well he didn't really die did he. Crucifixion was a very nasty way to die, but it was just the same for the thousands of others that the Romans crucified, the difference being that those thousands of others didn't come back to life.
Anyway, I find the idea of a human sacrifice extremely gross and in the case of Jesus it wasn't really a sacrifice as he was good as new in a few days if you believe the story that is.
Many of your American military have lost their lives over the years serving their country. To me, theirs was a real sacrifice. No one came to the home of their loved ones and said sorry, but your son/husband has been killed, but not to worry, he will be good as new in a couple of days.

Sorry, but you are not going to convince me of your religion by "scaring" me into it, or by using circular reasoning by pointing at your religion in an attempt to support your religion.

The "religious faith" you are asking of me, is literally to "believe in things unseen". As in: without evidence.

I can't do that. That, is gullibility.

I require actual reasons for accepting something as correct.
Threats, "dreams", "revelations" and "visions" will not cut it.

He knows that.

Your thinking proves one thing. God succeeded in creating free will. You are proof.

Then your disbelief of Zeus, is equal proof of Zeus existing.

But, you still have a chance. You were born.

God succeeded in creating a life that is not pre-programmed in its volition. You are providing that evidence.

For that, I say thanks.

uhu...

in other words: "heads I win, tails you lose".

How do you "hate" something that you don't even believe to be real?

For example, do you "hate" Zeus, the loch ness monster, santa claus, tooth fairies,...?
Or do you simply not believe that they exist?
