The Cross Movement

I just recently purchased a CD by "The Cross Movement." For those of you who do not know who that is, they are a christian hiphop group and they are awesome. If you havent heard of them I suggest you look them up. Anyway, I often listen to the CD in my car. I have alot of friends who arent saved and well so far I have had 3 of them ask me for copies of the CD. These are people who do not go to church! They tell me they love the CD and one of them even has started coming to church with me! Praise God!

yeah their pretty good beats, and the rappers flow real good over them.when u listen to music like this and like 'holy culture' ur spirit gets real strong

Yea it does. Thats one of the main reasons why I like them. I think that some non christians sometimes get the idea that All christian music is boreing and dragged out, then you have artists like them and they really get those people to listening and wondering.

Woohoo! Doesn't it feel amazing when you can reach people?! I love that! I think music is a great way to do that. And I think you're right Kuntrygurl - people have a really limited idea of Christian music. Take POD - a lot of people didn't even realize it while they were listening to it! But the Holy Spirit is ministering to them, even while they're listening.

Yeah, POD is good, not one of my favorites though. Alot of my friends liked POD so i bought a CD of theres, the lyrics in most of the songs were really good. Personally I think what the worlds problem is with Christianity is that they have a sterotypical view of it. They dont realize how wonderful God is and how much he could change their lives. They get comfortable with liveing with less when really they could get so much more out of life. Just like we as christians sometimes get comfortable in were we are with our walks with christ and dont worry about the non-believers. We figures" well im going to heaven thats all that counts" when we really should be reaching out more and more. I pray every single day that God will find some way to use me that way. Sometimes we just get so happy being were we are that we dont worry about anybody else but us.
